We invite you to a horse-drawn carriage ride in the village of Lazaresti and through the wild forests of the Volcano Land,near Lake Saint Anne.During the trip we will make a time travel (approx.16 km round trip) in the footsteps of wild boars and bears. We stop on the top of the mountain, where a charming view of the Ciuc basin awaits us. We will taste real mineral waters, we will see the tracks of animals, after which we will enjoy a traditional picnic in nature, with tastings of local products (brandy, bacon, cheese, etc.) On the way back we will visit the traditional Nyír bath,admiring the post-volcanic activity, which is still manifested today in the form of carbonated mineral waters, mud and healing gases. Duration 4-5 h Optional, we can go to a Wildlife Observatory (we go to the hide with an off-road vehicle or horse-drawn carriage, dependind of the weather). Your guide will pick you up early in the morning from your accommodation in Brasov. In about two hours, you will arrive at the lower cable car station on the Transfagarasan road. From here, the only way of going up to Balea lake is by taking the cable car. The route goes from 1200 meters to 2040 meters in 3,7 kilometers. Once you get up, take a deep breath of fresh mountain air and feel free to explore the area. When you're hungry, go inside one of the huts for a tasty lunch. In the end, go back to base by cable car. Continue to the village of Carta, to see a 13th century old gothic monastery. On you way back to Brasov, if there is time, visit the beautiful Fagaras fortress, built in the 14th century. Once you get back to Brasov, your guide will drop you off at your accommodation in Brasov. *Please keep in mind that the cable car can depart with at least 10 people and only in good weather conditions. If you cannot take the cable car due to bad weather, you will be partially refunded.

Having most of its surface covered with forests, the Carpathian mountains from Romania are ideal if you’re looking for wildlife. This is the case with Putna Vrancea Natural Park, a protected area of around 30.000 hectares, situated in Vrancea county. Because human access is limited in the area, you can spot a large variety of flora and fauna, including wolves, bears, lynx, chamoix, wild cats, wild boars and deer.

Spend a memorable day trip from Brasov to Piatra Craiului, one of the most challenging massifs in Romania. In the morning, your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Brasov. After a short transfer to Zarnesti, you will reach the starting point. The hike begins with a moderate ascent through a beech forest. Once arrived in Zanoaga meadow, you will see the amazing views of Bucegi mountains and the main ridge of Piatra Craiului mountains. You will continue on an easy trail to Curmatura Chalet, the highest situated hut in this massif, at 1470 meters. Once arrived at the chalet, you will choose one of the trails that lead to the main ridge, to the Ascutit peak (2150 m) or choose another route that best suits your fitness level and experience. Once we arrive in Magura, we gonna start our tour, go through the narrow country roads, we will have the Piatra Craiului mountain range on our right side and the majestic Bucegi mountains on our left side. Spend quality time with this nice day trip not far away from Brasov. You will be picked up from your location in Brasov and driven to the village of Ohaba, where you will visit an old water mill which is still used nowadays by the locals and for those who still prefer the old way of grinding wheat. Continue your trip to the nearby village of Sinca Veche, where you will visit the cave temple, famous for being a mystical place where people used to come and pray. Because its popularity has become bigger and bigger, the place is usually full of tourists who enter the caverns and experience - some say - unknown and invisible powers that give them chills. You next stop will be in Sinca Noua where you will go on a 10 minutes easy hike to visit the Podu Ilii viaduct, which belongs to an abandoned railway track. For its times, it was considered to be the biggest arched concrete viaduct in Romania. You will have a delicious lunch near the village of Poiana Marului and return to Brasov.

At around 8 AM your guide will pick you up from your location in Brasov and transfer to the starting point at Dambu Morii. Start hiking and after about 1 hour you will reach the Seven Ladders Canyon, carved by the Sipoaia stream in Jurassic limestone. You will go right through it on the special trail built with metal and consisting of seven ladders and multiple bridges. After exiting the canyon, you will continue your hike up to the Piatra Mare hut, at 1630 meters. After a short break, begin climbing to the peak, at 1844m. From the top, you will have fantastic views over Brasov area and the surrounding mountains: Bucegi, Piatra Craiului, Baiului, Postavaru, Ciucas. Depending on weather conditions and fitness level of the participants, you have several routes on the way down. One of them leads back to the hut where you can have a well deserved lunch. Continue down to base, get in the car and get back to your location in Brasov.
