Departure from Brasov. Visit Rupea Fortress- one of the medieval monuments that best survived the passing of the time in a region that was once in the frontlines of the Ottoman expansion towards Central Europe. Stop in Viscri. Here we visit the fortified church – a UNESCO site, the village blacksmith. Departure to Sighisoara and start a walking tour (aprox 1h30min) in the medieval center. Visit the Clock Tower, the most impressive tower. Next stop is The Vlad Dracul House, the place where Vlad Dracul (the father of Vlad the Impaler) once lived and where Vlad the Impeller was born. The Weapens Collection and the Torture Room is housed at the foot of the Clock Tower and is the same room where prisoners were tortured during the Middle Ages. The Church on the Hill can be reached by climbing the 175 steps of the covered wooden Scholars’ Stairs. We invite you to a horse-drawn carriage ride in the village of Lazaresti and through the wild forests of the Volcano Land,near Lake Saint Anne.During the trip we will make a time travel (approx.16 km round trip) in the footsteps of wild boars and bears. We stop on the top of the mountain, where a charming view of the Ciuc basin awaits us. We will taste real mineral waters, we will see the tracks of animals, after which we will enjoy a traditional picnic in nature, with tastings of local products (brandy, bacon, cheese, etc.) On the way back we will visit the traditional Nyír bath,admiring the post-volcanic activity, which is still manifested today in the form of carbonated mineral waters, mud and healing gases. At around 8 AM your guide will pick you up from your location in Brasov and transfer to the starting point at Dambu Morii. Start hiking and after about 1 hour you will reach the Seven Ladders Canyon, carved by the Sipoaia stream in Jurassic limestone. You will go right through it on the special trail built with metal and consisting of seven ladders and multiple bridges. After exiting the canyon, you will continue your hike up to the Piatra Mare hut, at 1630 meters. After a short break, begin climbing to the peak, at 1844m. From the top, you will have fantastic views over Brasov area and the surrounding mountains: Bucegi, Piatra Craiului, Baiului, Postavaru, Ciucas. Depending on weather conditions and fitness level of the participants, you have several routes on the way down. One of them leads back to the hut where you can have a well deserved lunch. Continue down to base, get in the car and get back to your location in Brasov.

You will be picked up from your location in Brasov and driven to the village of Ohaba, where you will visit an old water mill which is still used nowadays by the locals and for those who still prefer the old way of grinding wheat.
