We start bright and early with this small-group tour, heading straight to the legendary home of Nessie at Scotland’s most famous loch, Loch Ness! As we wind through the Highlands toward the west coast, towering mountains open up to sprawling sea lochs once used by Vikings. Next, we arrive at Eilean Donan Castle, where an optional tour dives into Scotland’s fierce and fascinating past.
From there, it’s on to the star of the show: the Isle of Skye! Along the way, you’ll hear tales of legendary clans, daring escapes, and the myths that shape this land. This tour can be customised to take you to any of the Speyside Distilleries. We have listed 2 of the most popular but we can take you to any and assist you with tour bookings etc.
Leaving Inverness at 8am we travel down to Dufftown in the Heart of Speyside to arrive at the largest producing Distillery in Scotland - Glenfiddich for our first tour and tasting , we then travel to Craigellachie to the Speyside Cooperage to see the skills of the Coopers before we have lunch at the Mash Tun in Aberlour. Following lunch we travel a short distance to Glenallachie Distillery for our final tasting before we travel back to your accommodation in Inverness.

Day 1
Drive the scenic NC500 route, experiencing some of Scotland's most incredible views before taking the boat to the Orkney Isles. Once on the island, we'll visit the Italian Chapel and head to Scapa Distillery for a whisky tasting!
Day 2
Experience the historic Viking town of Kirkwall.
Travel back in time and get up close to 5000 year old Standing Stones, Stone Circles and enter an ancient Chambered Burial Cairn.
Day 3
Travel by boat over the sea to the mainland before visiting John O'Groats, the northernmost settlement on the British mainland.
Crawl on your hands and knees to reach the center of historic burial cairns.
Experience coastal scenery on the stunning drive to Inverness.
(Please note: days may be done in a different order/include a different distillery).
The journey to Skye takes us through many majestic landscapes. Travelling the Great Glen alongside Loch Ness, we’ll head north west at Invermoriston, passing the Five Sisters of Kintail before descending through the site of The Battle of Glen Shiel towards Loch Duich and our first glimpse of the west coast.
We’ll take time for a visit to Eilean Donan Castle before heading over the Skye Bridge. Our time on Skye will be spent away from the crowds, exploring the beautiful Sleat Peninsula, "The Garden of Skye". Our visit to Isle Ornsay allows time to explore the curious Gaelic craft and whisky shops and gallery... we can pop back in here later for a whisky tasting too!
We continue south to Armadale Castle & Gardens, and then to the southern most point of Skye along the most picturesque road on the island. The views to Knoydart, Loch Nevis and The Isles of Eigg & Rhum are simply breathtaking
If time allows, we can return to the mainland by the Glenelg ferry enroute back to Inverness.

You will have the opportunity to look for our favourite monster, we take you to the famous Loch Ness.
Loch Ness is more than a lake, not only you can try to find the best hidden monster in history, you can also walk though nature or take some great photos, please have your cameras ready.
Once is finished your search for Nessy we will head to Culloden Batterfield where your tour guide will tell you about this exciting peace of Scottish history. Only one hour took to the British to win this terrible battle where only few of them died.

Cycle to Loch Ness. Most visitors to Inverness will want to make a trip out to Loch Ness. The south side of the Loch offers quiet country roads and an easy to ride, easy to navigate route from Inverness with options to extend the ride if you've got more miles in your legs! This route is virtually traffic free now although some of it on very quiet country roads rather than dedicated bike paths.
You will be in a private driven vehicle with a tour guide for your transfer to or from Edinburgh no taxi signs or external signage
your driver has experience of the route and will be collect you from hotel to hotel or hotel to airport etc at a convienient time to suit yourself

It combines scenic views and cultural immersion while you sit back, relax and enjoy a dram or two. This is a tour for both the novice and the connoisseur to enjoy. Each distillery has their own quirky attributes but they all use the finest ingredients and traditional processes to craft their distinctive flavour.
Our tour includes 1 Distillery Tour Admission fee at any available distillery listed in our itinerary. We will then be visiting as many distilleries that we can within the tour duration. They all offer tastings which we leave up to your discretion to enjoy. You can alternatively choose to simply wander about their impressive stunning grounds.
Booking a distillery tour on your own is highly discouraged as it will disrupt the itinerary. However, if you have booked one, please inform us beforehand so that we can find a way to work around it.
