Each distillery has their own quirky attributes but they all use the finest ingredients and traditional processes to craft their distinctive flavour. Our tour includes 1 Distillery Tour Admission fee at any available distillery listed in our itinerary. We will then be visiting as many distilleries that we can within the tour duration. They all offer tastings which we leave up to your discretion to enjoy. You can alternatively choose to simply wander about their impressive stunning grounds. Booking a distillery tour on your own is highly discouraged as it will disrupt the itinerary. However, if you have booked one, please inform us beforehand so that we can find a way to work around it.

Experience the grandeur of Scotland in winter and step aboard our 8-seater Mercedes tourer as we take you on a captivating tour of the highlands. Your journey will begin at the legendary Loch Ness. Where you will hear tales of the Loch Ness Monster. Next our journey will take us to Drumnadrochit which is a quaint highland village with warm hospitality. After this we will soon see the majestic ruins of Urquhart Castle which has seen many ravages, from Jacobite uprisings to wars of Scottish Independence. Further along the shore we will stop at Invermoriston Falls and Summer House. This will be a scenic walk through the forest to see the Falls from the Summer House. Next on our journey we will stop at Fort Augustus and Caledonian Canal. We will then travel to see the Falls of Foyers and drive past Boleskine House: Once owned by Aleister Crowley and later, Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page. Our last stop will be Dores Beach on the shores of Loch Ness.

Leaving from Inverness, we will travel on the Great Glen, reaching the little village of Drumnadrochit on the shores of Loch Ness. After our visit, we will head west to reach the romantic Eilean Donan castle after about an hour and a half drive. Visit in the castle and lunch is a must. On the second part of our journey we will cross over to the Island of Skye and Portree and experience the island life. Please note that this is a long day and it would be ideal as a day tour rather then a shore excursion but if you would like it to be a shore excursion it can be altered to suit your requirements. Options North We met 8.30am and after quick introductions, we travelled North towards Dornoch, then Loch Fleet and Dunrobbin castle, enjoying the castle and the Falconry display within the beautiful grounds. In the afternoon enjoying a whisky tasting at Glenmorangie distillery followed by a tour and tasting at Balblair distillery or for those who are not whisky drinkers we can head over to Milliinaires Viewpoint and Falls of Shin Option 2 South to Inverness, Loch Ness and Urquhart castle and culloden battlefield and historic clava cairns. This is a half day tour taking you out to Urquhart Castle on Loch Ness side as well as to Culloden Battlefield where the last battle on British soil took place on the 16th April 1746 , Clava Cairns , Beauly Priory and around Inverness and we will stop to see some Highland Coos and also stop at the Culloden Viaduct which was built in 1898.

You will have an experienced tour guide show you some of the amazing sites in the Highlands. Many noted sites from the Outlander TV series and book by Diana Gabaldon. We will collect you in Inverness. You’ll go to culloden battlefield and into the virtual reality battle, then clava cairns which was the inspiration for Creag Dubh. Then off on a drive through Inverness city with photo opportunities of Inverness castle. Loch Ness then awaits as we drive by for 30 minutes on our way to Drumnadrochit. There we go into the newly refurbished Nessie centre. After 50 minutes wander around the gift shop or visit the smallest gin distillery in the UK where you can sample free their gin. Urquhart castle next nestled on the loch. Then over wild land Culnakirk (Simon the Fox Fraser country) then down into Beauly.
