The Canopy Tour of Arenal Ecoglide Park is located 3.5 km west of the Catholic temple in La Fortuna de San Carlos, was built following the standards required by the Costa Rican Tourism Institute and National Insurance Institute. It consists of two cables, one sliding and the other independent cable for greater security of our users.

Start your day as you hike across the 2 mile Arenal Hanging Bridges and see the jungle from high above the forest. Your naturalist guide will teach you about Costa Rican culture, history, while you experience what we like to call "nature therapy." Immerse yourself in nature while you try to spot different species of plants, animals, and birds for approx. 2.5 hrs along the way. Appreciate 15 different bridges, 6 are hanging. After, head to the Arenal Volcano Reserve. Hike through amazing forest and breath-taking lava flow. We’ll head through easy trails that skirt the base of the Arenal Volcano. You'll love our fresh, amazing meal in one of La Fortuna's secret hangout at El Salto waterfall park. Finish the day at the stunning La Fortuna Waterfall. This is sure to be a good workout as there are 500 steps to get to the down and get back up! Horseback riding in Rio Celeste, enjoy a unique and incredible experience, you can observe the river and many species of animals, birds and others.

The ride takes around 30 minutes to get to the rain forest where the hanging bridges of different heights are located. During this approximate two mile hike, with some luck, you will be able to see: Howler Monkeys, Spider Monkeys, white faced Capuchin Monkeys, many species of birds, snakes, Armadillos, Coatimundis (a member of the Racoon family often known to beg for scraps) and various other animals that may include Iguanas and Sloths. After our hike in the rain forest we will continue our journey to the La Fortuna Waterfall, a beautiful place with a lot of vegetation around it. Once there it is another hike down (500 steps with some resting areas) to the waterfall base to go for a swim in the cool pristine waters of La Fortuna river. After all this hiking exercise you will be hungry so we will visit a nice restaurant nearby to enjoy a delicious lunch.

Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges is one of the most visited tourism attractions in La Fortuna within a 250-hectare (618 acre) reserve of primary forest. It is located between the edges of two types of forest, highland and lowland, and integrates both. Visitors who love nature can enjoy 15 bridges from 5 to 100 meters long, friendly design along 3.2 km rain forest circuit of interpretive trails built with paving blocks to prevent slipping. The bridges are built of aluminum, galvanized steel, and concrete, to ensure maximum security for the visitors and were designed by structural engineers with the most demanding safety margins in the world. Guided by a naturalist, who through the natural history will open for you the doors of a fascinating and colorful Tropical Rain Forest world. The imposing vistas of the Volcano from the hanging bridges over the forest, make a perfect combination for an unforgettable experience.

It’s an outdoor hiking tour through the rain forest with the help of a naturalistic guide to look for the sloths in the wild. We’ll be finding an average of four to six sloths in the area. We have about 2 miles trails with a rich biodiversity so we also be able to appreciate some birds, frogs, insects and other wildlife around. This adventure takes almost two hours to be done but it’s a gentile hike in a flat land 30 acres property. The trails are mostly under shade with some open areas so you only we’ll need some bug spray.

The tour starts with an introduction to the adventure park and a quick lesson on how to Zipline through the canopy and Rappelling down waterfalls. After the safety speech and introduction, you will take a Jungle Bus to the top, where you can look out over the gorgeous tropical canopy, the La Fortuna, Pino Blanco waterfall, and Arenal Volcano. Next, you will take a 20-minute hike through the jungle accompanied by a highly trained guide who will explain the area’s importance and help you discover any wildlife along the way. Upon arriving at the ziplines, you will take three shorter cables to familiarize yourself with the operation and sensation. There are 12 Ziplines, measuring 3.5 kilometers in total length. The longest cable stretches 980 meters over the Famous La Fortuna Waterfall, two cables over the Pino Blanco Waterfall, and the remaining Ziplines through the multiple layers of tropical canopy and La Fortuna River below.

The Danaus Eco-Center is a biological reserve where they develop conservation programs, training, environmental education, and sustainable production. It has trails through a secondary forest where you can observe a wide variety of plants and animals in their natural habitat.
