Early in the morning we depart from Calafate. After traveling about 30 km to the east, we will take the Mythical Route 40 bordering, for a large part of our route, the eastern margin of Lake Argentino and the shores of the Santa Cruz River. Then, we will meet the La Leona River, which gives its name to the inn and hotel of the La Estela ranch. There we will make a stop to learn a little more about the history of the La Leona parador and hotel where, whoever wishes, can enjoy a hot infusion with homemade cakes. We will leave for El Chaltén and, after touring the Chorrillo del Salto about 4 km from the town and having lunch in La Tapera, after 45 minutes of moderate walking, we arrive at the Mirador de los Cóndores, a panoramic point from where you can see the main surrounding mountains, the Las Vueltas river valley and the town of El Chaltén.

Estancia 25 de Mayo is a typical Patagonian ranch, with 17.000 hectares and its historical main house just a few minutes away from El Calafate downtown. Starting early in the morning, we head towards the heart of Lago Argentino, where we will embark on an exciting navigation to the bottom of the South Arm. Upon disembarking, an unforgettable walk to the serene Frías Lake awaits us. After a gentle ascent, we will reach the natural viewpoint, from where we can marvel at the panoramic views of Lake Frías and its surroundings before descending towards its shore. We will board the Fitzcarraldo boat to sail through the crystalline waters of a dazzling emerald tone, sailing 5 km to the other shore. From there, we will begin a 6 km trek through the Frías River valley, getting closer and closer to the imposing glaciers. Along the way we will witness a landscape in constant change, surrounded by majestic Grande, Cubo and Dickson glaciers, which spill their ice towards the Frías Superior Lagoon. We will have lunch on the shores of the Frías Superior Lagoon if the wind conditions allow it.

The excursion begins early in the morning from El Calafate. We take the mythic Route 40, that goes along the Argentino Lake up to La Leona river. We will pass by the canyon with the same name “Cañadón La Leona” and after 1.15 h ride we will make a short stop at an ancient route hotel "La Leona", almost a museum of the Route 40. Our trip continues along the Lake Viedma, from where we will have magical views of glaciers, hidden lakes and the overpowering presence of the Mount Fitz Roy. After arriving at Chalten we continue our ride to Lago del Desierto taking the route that borders the Río de las Vueltas taking us deeper into the Lengas and Nires forest. The road ends after one hour ride and 37 kms up to the North arriving at Lago del Desierto. From the pier Punta Sur we'll take a 20 minute boat ride to the natural reserve Vespignani from where 3 self-guided paths take us to the best miradors of Vespignani Glacier and the north face of Mount Fitz Roy.

La Estancia 25 de Mayo opens the doors of the Quincho Restaurant located a few minutes from the city center. A unique place to enjoy nature and calm, and enjoy typical Argentine foods, such as Patagonian lamb. The night closes with live music, where local artists bring their viewers traditional songs from Argentina.

The Seno Mayo (or Brazo Mayo), is one of the wettest sectors of the National Park, that is why the vegetation that can be selected in the course of the two walks (which we will do in the Patagonian Andean forest) is totally different from the which observes in other places National Park. The "Mayo Spirit Trek" is the perfect combination of trekking in the forest, with a view of waterfalls, rivers, hanging glaciers and a visit to the Perito Moreno glacier (navigation + walkways). Suitable all-public, with low difficulty walks, makes our passengers fascinated with our excursion.

The Blue Safari is designed for those who, besides sailing in front of the Perito Moreno Glacier, dream of getting close to the glacier ice! Once in Puerto Bajo de las Sombras, just 7 km from the footbridges, we will take a boat to cross Lago Rico and, after sailing for 20 minutes, we will disembark on the opposite shore. Little by little we will walk for 30 minutes always with a view to the south wall of the Glacier in case we are surprised by a thunderous detachment.
