First we visit the Estancia Mitre and its Tehuelche museum; Patagonian lunch included. Then we visit the Perito Moreno Glacier at sunset. The crowds of visitors from the regular excursions have already left or are going. The Glacier, bathed in the light of the sunset sun, shines in a magical, special, and little-known way. The walkways have balconies at different levels and angles connected by paths and stairways which you will go through entirely during the excursion, appreciating this imposing glacier from different points. All inclusive. Pick up and drop off at your hotel.
We headed for route No. 11, skirting the Argentino Lake. From El Calafate, to the Perito Moreno Glacier, there is a distance of 80 km, by paved road in its entirety.
From the beginning, the trip holds pleasant surprises. Leaving the Town, to the right we can see the Argentino Lake with its Round Bay.
In it you can see an important variety of birdlife, standing out the black-necked swan, flamingo, steam duck, coot, and goose. The yellow color of the field stands out, this is due to its pastures called coirón, and among them, the white and short coirón stands out.
In the first 40 km the Patagonian steppe is covered, later going to the entrance of the National Park to observe the arboreal vegetation belonging mostly to the "notofagus" family (ñires, cherries, lengas), and flowers of various colors, among which the notro stands out for its intense red color corresponding to the Patagonian Andean Forest.
