Lemosho route is one of the best routes for acclimatization. The route is less used and a beautiful way up to the Shira Plateau. The route is one of the few where groups may be accompanied on the first day by an armed ranger, as the forests around the Lemosho Glades are inhabited by buffalo, elephant and other wildlife. 8 days Lemosho has one of the highest sucess rates. The additional days give your body more time to acclimatize, reducing the effects of altitude sickness and give you more time to rest before attempting the summit.

The Big Five Safari 5 Day Lodge Safari This African Big five safari features three of the popular Northern Circuit game parks. You will see flamingos and other water fowls in Lake Manyara National Park, a crater filled with wild animals in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and a large selection of animals in the Serengeti National Park.

Arusha National Park is a gem of varied ecosystems and spectacular views of Mt. Meru. The small national park includes the slopes, summit, and ash cone of Mt. Meru, the Momela Lakes, Ngurdoto Crater, and the lush highland forests that blanket its lower slopes. Game viewing around the Momela Lakes and while passing through the forest stop to search for troupes of rare colobus monkeys playing in the canopy.

Furthermore, it happens to be our personal favorite for conquering the summit of Africa. Your journey begins with a roughly 4-hour drive from Moshi to Londorossi Gate, which marks the entry point on the western flank of Mt. Kilimanjaro. From here, the route unfolds, leading you to the iconic Shira Plateau, where your extraordinary adventure will encompass traversing diverse climate zones, ranging from alpine meadows to the realm of perpetual ice. The ascent follows a gradual and manageable incline, contributing to the Lemosho route's impressive track record of achieving the highest success rate among all Kilimanjaro routes.

Despite of its lenght, it is enough to give you incredible and memorable wildlife safari. It has included the best and astonishing wildlife destinations allowing you a no regret game drives. Tarangire is the third largest national park in Tanzania popular for its great Concert ration of elephants, Zebras, Lions and many more antelopes can be spotted drinking water along the Taragire river. Beyond Tarangire, we find Serengeti National Park, this is the largest massive and endless plain famed for its annual wildebeest migration and home to Lions, Cheetah, Leopards, Giraffes and much more. Your safari will be more thrilled by a visit to Ngorongoro Crater home to last remained and endangered black rhinos. During your Safari, you will be sleeping in nice tented Camp and lodges where by some of them are located inside the parks, allowing you to experience both day and night life of in the wilderness.

This route provides the opportunity to “trek high and sleep low” which is considered important in minimizing the potential for altitude sickness. The climb starts above the picturesque mountain village of Machame to the south of Kilimanjaro. After passing through the Machame forest and into the moorland zone, we scramble up and over some rocks and eventually emerge onto the Shira Plateau. We then advance counter-clockwise traversing below the southern face of Kibo, climb Lava Tower for magnificent 360 degree panoramas, ascend the Great Barranco Wall, a challenging and exhilarating rock scramble, and approach Uhuru Summit from Barafu or Kossovo Camp and the ridge that abuts the Southeast Valley. The climb from Barafu offers incredible views of Mawenzi Peak and Kilimanjaro’s remnant volcanic cone.

You'll pass through a forest reserve on the way to West Kilimanjaro, where you can drive and spot Colobus monkeys among the trees. You begin your hike at 3,500 meters above sea level and proceed through the stunningly untamed Shira Plateau landscape. You'll step out of the vehicle, put on your shoes, and enjoy the sights, sounds, and hues of Tanzania's breathtaking wilderness. When the weather permits, you can see views of Kilimanjaro's northern glaciers and its highest peak, Kibo, while hiking various trails under the guidance of a ranger. The views of the highest free-standing mountain in the world are juxtaposed with the vast plains of the neighboring Amboseli National Park in Kenya and the deep gorge of the Simba River. You will make a brief stop at various observation points along the northern rim of Shira Crater to observe the volcanic cones that dot the surrounding terrain. On this trip, you will hike on the Marangu Route with one night at Mandara Hut and towards Horombo Hut before returning to Mandara for lunch and then hiking back. You will NOT reach the summit. All short treks are offered on a private basis, and you can start on any day of the year. The short treks are geared for people who like to hike but reaching the summit isn't a "must do", and allow one to experience the excitement of hiking on the highest peak on the African continent. All trekking inside of the Tanzania National Park require the services of a certified Kilimanjaro guide, and the Marangu route is the only route where short treks are allowed. For an overnight hike you will stay at the park huts.

Rongai is the only route starting on the northern slope of Kilimanjaro. Though this part of the Mountain is rarely visited by hikers, it is not less interesting than the popular southern and western slopes. We recommend Rongai to all those who like reclusive hiking experiences. Rongai is also the only route that passes by Mawenzi, one of the three volcanic cones of Kilimanjaro and the third highest peak in Africa. The way back lies through Marangu, and thus you will be able to see both sides of the mountain.

Umbwe Route: The Umbwe route is a short, steep and direct route. It is considered to be very difficult and is the most challenging way up Mount Kilimanjaro. Due to the quick ascent, Umbwe does not provide the necessary stages for altitude acclimatization. Although the traffic on this route is very low, the chances of success are also low. The route is offered at a minimum of six days, though seven days is recommended when attempting this route. The Umbwe route should only be attempted by those who are very strong hikers and are confident in their ability to acclimatize.
