The well-established ‘Northern Circuit' safari of northern Tanzania offers some of the world’s most diverse safari experiences, consisting of National Parks, game reserves, conservation areas and private concessions. Among these are the world-famous and iconic Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater, and of course their less well-known neighbours, Tarangire National Park and Lake Manyara National Park. These parks exist for one general purpose and that is to protect the amazing variety and abundance of wildlife in them, both resident and seasonal - and most of all, the world’s largest annual migration of wildebeest and zebra. Although this part of the world has become increasingly busy as a result of its reputation, it is still possible to escape the crowds and find a quiet corner if you know where to go.

It is an exciting African wildlife safari in two of the most spectacular national game parks in Tanzania.
This unforgettable Tanzania safari will take you to the Ngorongoro Crater, featuring one of the highest concentrations of game in Africa. Here you will witness an amazing spectacle of African wildlife - inside a self-contained world, teeming with animals.
Your tour will also take you to the Lake Manyara National Park, one of Tanzania's most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a shallow but huge soda lake, at the foot of the Great Rift Valley's western escarpment. The size of both the selected Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater national parks, make them a perfect choice for our shorter safari.
An excellent, extended safari which gives us plenty of time in beautiful Serengeti National Park, and also introduces us to the magic of Tanzania’s other natural Northern Circuit attractions. We will begin our adventure on this five-day adventure in Lake Manyara, small but certainly not lacking in interesting sights, sounds and smells and set against a dramatic backdrop of the Rift Valley escarpment, not forgetting the glistening lake itself. In Serengeti, we will have a full program of game-drives, letting us explore the stunning and varied landscapes of this famous place. All the time, we’ll be looking for the best wildlife experiences, before we depart for another Tanzanian gem, the incomparable crater of Ngorongoro, on the lookout for a black rhino. Then, we finish our adventure in Tarangire National Park, another of the Northern Circuit’s true jewels and famous for its large herd of elephants and iconic baobab trees.
The Marangu route, also known as the "Coca-Cola" route, is the oldest, most well established route on Kilimanjaro. This is the only route which offers sleeping huts in dormitory style accommodations in lieu of camping. There are 60 bunk beds each at Mandara and Kibo Huts, and 120 bunk beds at Horombo Hut. Guests are supplied with mattresses and pillows, but sleeping bags are still required. The huts have communal dining halls and basic washrooms, ranging from flushing toilets and running water at the lower huts to long drop toilets and buckets of water at Hut.
Many favor Marangu because it is the easiest path on the mountain, given its gradual slope and direct path. However the short time frame of the route makes altitude acclimatization fairly difficult. The route approaches Mount Kilimanjaro from the southeast. Marangu is unfortunately less scenic than the other routes because the ascent and descent are along the same path. It is also the most crowded route
The Marangu route takes you at a gentle pace through forests, moorlands and then across The Saddle, a high-altitude desert separating the main summit, Kibo, 5895m, from craggy Mawenzi, 5149m, to Kibo Hut. From here an early start is made for the ascent to Uhuru Point (the top of Kibo). The path zig-zags up steep scree which is easier to climb when frozen.
The views from the crater rim at Gillman’s Point at dawn can be spectacular. Uhuru Peak lies just above. This is a tough walking trip but within the limits of a fit individual used to walking in mountain areas. An extra day for acclimatisation to the altitude is recommended at Horombo from where there are various walks to enjoy.
• Look for tree climbing lion in Manyara national park.
• Visit the crater and look for the black rhino.
• Explore the great migration in the Mara River.
A great way to experience some of Tanzania’s amazing wildlife within a short period of time. This compact safari is ideal for those who are on a tight schedule or those looking for a weekend getaway. A visit to Tarangire and Lake Manyara National Parks as well as the Ngorongoro Crater offers the best wildlife viewing experience for these three days. The concentration of wildlife in these three parks offers great opportunities to see lots of wildlife within a short period of time.
Mountain Kilimanjaro is 5,893 meters tall making it the tallest mountain on the African continent and the highest free-standing mountain in the world. And the dome is within reach if you just keep climbing!
The Northern Circuit is the newest and Longest route on Kilimanjaro. This route encompasses several ecosystems, boasts incredible views and allows for an adequate altitude acclimation time.
Your trip starts when we pick you up from the airport at Kilimanjaro and take you to the hotel in Moshi for the night. You will be introduced to your mountain guide and we will ensure you have all the necessary gear for the climb. The next morning you’ll be driven to the trailhead where the hike begins.
The hike is designed to acclimate your body to the increasing altitude by completing phases that allow for gradual altitude gain each day. Along the way you’ll see incredible views and take in the expansive landscape.
Lemosho route is one of the best routes for acclimatization. The route is less used and a beautiful way up to the Shira Plateau.
The route is one of the few where groups may be accompanied on the first day by an armed ranger, as the forests around the Lemosho Glades are inhabited by buffalo, elephant and other wildlife.
8 days Lemosho has one of the highest sucess rates. The additional days give your body more time to acclimatize, reducing the effects of altitude sickness and give you more time to rest before attempting the summit.
Starting from the Rongai gate, the route traverses several diverse climate zones, and each produces its own amazing views and experiences. Because of its remote location, the route offers trekkers a relatively unspoiled wilderness experience where it is possible to see large wildlife like antelope, elephants, and buffalo. Heading up to Kikelewa Caves on day two, the views start to open up, with the Amboseli Plains of Kenya stretching into the distance. The route continues up to the mountain’s second summit at Mawenzi, before crossing the Saddle, a barren plain that connects the two peaks of Mawenzi and Kibo. After reaching the summit, the descent is along the more heavily traveled Marangu route, offering you the chance to see Mount Kilimanjaro from both sides.
Lying in the rain shadow of Kilimanjaro, the Rongai route is one of the best routes to make the attempt on Kilimanjaro during the rainy season.
7 Days Machame Route Kilimanjaro Climbing is one of the most popular trekking routes on Mount Kilimanjaro, offering a scenic and challenging ascent to the summit. Known as the “Whiskey Route,” it provides a more gradual climb compared to others, allowing climbers to adjust to the altitude. This route is famous for its diverse ecosystems, ranging from lush rainforests to alpine deserts, providing an unforgettable experience. Climbers will enjoy stunning views of the mountain’s slopes and glaciers while passing through various altitudes and terrain. The route is ideal for those seeking a rewarding adventure with a higher chance of summit success due to its gradual acclimatization profile.
Embark on an unforgettable journey up the legendary Mount Kilimanjaro via the 5-day Marangu Route, also known as the "Coca-Cola" route.
This classic trek is the most popular and well-established path to the summit, offering comfortable hut accommodations and stunning panoramic views.
