During the journeys I will tell you the history of the area and its traditions, the vines and the peculiarities of the area. We will visit a winery representative of the beautiful countryside around the city of Lucca, usually Valle del Sole a Cappella (LU) and after visiting the winery, you will be welcomed in the tasting room or on the panoramic terrace to enjoy a light lunch based on local products that includes all the wines produced by the company.

Our tasting tours are a journey to discover the history of Lucca and the taste given by organic production that pays attention to the territory. Let yourself be involved in the story of Lucca Ducale, of which Maria Teresa of Savoy was the protagonist and who made the Tenuta di San Martino in Vignale her country residence. We will visit together the historic cellar and the oil mill, which are still used today, with the inclusion of modern machinery and the use of wise and nature-friendly organic techniques. After having quenched the thirst for knowledge, it will be the turn of the palate! Starting the tour from Piazzale Verdi, we'll walk into the heart of the city to reach Piazza San Michele. The guide will illustrate the history of the city throughout the ages, including the fascinating architectural changes that made the city as it looks today. We'll visit Via Fillungo, the bustling commercial road of Lucca, and see Piazza Anfiteatro, built on the ruins of the ancient roman amphitheater. Our guide will also tell us about the life and curiosities of Lucca's most celebrated citizen, the famous composer Giacomo Puccini. Marvel at the facade of San Martin Cathedral, and follow the labyrinth carved on the wall outside the church! Finishing the tour with a short walk on the walls of Lucca, we'll then head back where we started, with a lot of facts and anecdotes on our beautiful town. We will then move on to wine tasting accompanied by bread, cheese, cold cuts and oil from local production. These are wines selected from small producers, mainly organic certified, in love with their work and the territory.
