If you want to try real Lucca’s flavors you are in the right place. We will make everything together and at the end we will eat what we cooked with a good glass of wine as accompaniment. Also kids can cook with us and actively participate to the cooking class. It is an excellent opportunity to learn how Italian grandma’s cook and what they usually ate in the past. We are here to learn and have fun by cooking together! Every day it’s programmed a different cooking class: - on Monday: typical complete menu - on Tuesday: two typical cake of lucca, castagnaccio and chard cake - On Wednesday: Pasta, typical of Lucca - On Thursday: Natural Gelato, we are going to learn how balance gelato and how it’s made - On Friday: Schiacciata Toscana, typical Tuscan flatbread filled with cheese and salami. Follow the Serchio River and cycle along scenic country roads on the way to the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa on this family-friendly self-guided tour. This easy/intermediate journey starts in Lucca and follows secondary country roads all around the Monti Pisani. Cycle down 33 kilometers of dirt and asphalt roads with a trekking bike or an e-bike. Bikes are fitted with a phone holder, making it easy to follow the GPS directions on the application. The journey to Pisa takes between 2 to 4 hours. After approximately 20 kilometers, stop at San Giuliano Terme for a refreshing drink in the charming central square in front of the Spa. Tuscany Wine Tours at Podere Pellicciano A unique tasty experience! We will explore our Sangiovese, Colorino, Trebbiano vineyards and all the native Tuscan vines that we grow every day with passion. We will walk until we arrive in our olive grove where every year we produce our extra virgin olive oil. Then we will walk through our cellar to understand all the details of the winemaking, aging, bottling and labeling process of all our production. After the first part of the visit, the most beautiful part will start: the tasting of our wines and our extra virgin olive oil. The wine tasting will be combined with our extra virgin olive oil made only with Tuscan cultivars and with a platter of cold cuts and cheeses typical of our territory. We will start with fresh white and rosé wines, continuing with the daily reds and concluding with our line of native Tuscan single grape varieties,in total 6 wines.
