From there you drive a few kilometers along the highway in a Tanzanian way with the "Daladala" (minibus for passenger transport). Driving Daladala is characterized by music and many people who often transport interesting things and spontaneous conversations with locals - absolutely worth experiencing! Next, you'll head by tuktuk to the hot springs, where you'll indulge yourself and eat Chipsi Mayai before heading back in the evening.

The Lemosho route is considered the most scenic trail on Kilimanjaro, granting panoramic vistas on various sides of the mountain. As one of the newer Kilimanjaro routes, Lemosho is a superb choice for your climb. It is our preferred route due to its ideal balance of low crowds, beautiful scenery and a high summit success rate. Thus, Lemosho is highly recommended.

Also known as “The Whiskey Route,” Machame is one of the more scenic routes on the mountain. It is a popular route among climbers due to its high summit success rate. Allowing you to “climb high, sleep low”, this route gives your body enough time to adjust to the changes in altitude over several days. Machame offers only tented accommodation and begins at the Machame Gate at the southern base of the mountain, with the approach to the summit made from the east. You will also descend the mountain via a different route, finishing your climb at Mweka Gate. Climbs can take six or seven days; however, we would always advise choosing the longer route for the best chance of acclimatization and reaching the summit.

The Shira Plateau area of Kilimanjaro offers a fantastic opportunity to get high on a big mountain and to hike around this impressive World Heritage Site as a day trip – it’s a fantastic area and there are some great day hikes – either a more strenuous day hiking up along the ancient rim of the plateau or something more relaxed sticking to the undulating floor – perhaps going as far as the photogenic ‘cone place’ or Shira Needles’ at the Southern end of the plateau. There is a fair amount of wildlife on the plateau however most of it is elusive and nocturnal but with care the events of the night can be reconstructed from the footprints around the watering points on the streams. There are herds of buffalo but also smaller gazelles and bushbuck, there is the carcase of eland and elephant higher on the mountain proving that these larger animals are occasional visitors.

Enjoy a one day safari from Moshi to Lake Chala. A guide will take you to the lake where you will spend your day doing various activities. Lunch will be provided. After your day on the lake you will be driven back to Moshi for a short tour of the town.

Many favor the Marangu route because it is considered to be the easiest path on the mountain, given its gradual slope. The day hike is a challenge that allows a client to see what kilimanjaro is all about whilst enjoying the beautiful scenery around. This hike is managable especially for people who either don't have enough time or the financial capacity to do the full hike. The trip has beautiful wildlife such as the Monkeys colobus and blue velvet, there is beautiful bird sightings and most importantly the vegetation such as the Eucalyptus trees are not something to be missed. The trip will begin on a pick up at your hotel and drive for about an hour to the Marangu gate which is where we will begin the hike. We will hike to Mandara hut which is about 2700m and on the way we will have the opportunity to see the Maundi crater which you will be able to see the soroundings including Northen Tanzania and Kenya. After having a well packed lunch we will hike back to the park gate where we will begin our drive back to Moshi town.
