This safari features all of the popular Northern Circuit game parks.  With the Best of Tanzania Safari travel in custom designed 4x4 safari vehicles with open roofs for game viewing.  This is a small group seat-in-vehicle safari with a maximum of 7 travelers per vehicle, all with window seats. Traveling for 8- days, the safari includes meals, accommodation, park entry fees and visit to Lake Manyara, Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater. 

The Marangu route is used by almost 50% of all climbers and has comfortable mountain huts with solar power lighting. Although the trail is crowded, the views are beautiful and each day of walking progresses through a different climate zone, adding considerably to the interest of the trek. The real highlight is the walk from Gillman’s point along the crater rim to Uhuru Peak, passing close to the spectacular glaciers and ice cliffs that still occupy most of the summit area. The views on a clear morning are absolutely magnificent – The Rift Valley, Mt. Meru, and the Masai Steppes stand out from the plains almost three vertical miles below as the sun rises behind Mawenzi. We also add an extra day to the standard five-day itinerary to ensure maximum acclimatization and give ourselves the best possible chance of enjoying the magnificent scenery. National Park statistics indicate that the chance of reaching the summit increases by at least 20% if an extra day is spent acclimatizing.

The 6-day Kilimanjaro climbing via Marangu Route which is often called the "Coca–Cola route," is the oldest path up Mount Kilimanjaro and one of the most popular ones. Marangu Route might be the easiest and perhaps most comfortable way to Kili’s summit as you will overnight in rustic huts. An advantage as the nights on the mountain can be very cold. The route is well developed and the climb is constant and moderate. It follows the same trail up and down. Climbing Kilimanjaro via Machame is very scenic but slightly challenging. Often called the Whiskey Route this is a scenically beautiful trail, longer and much gentler than Umbwe or Marangu. Despite being a tough climb compared to the Marangu route, the Machame route has one of the highest summit success rates given the topography of the route which allows climbers to “trek high & sleep low” hence making it a more favorable route for acclimatization. This hike takes 7 Days although an extra day at Shira or Karanga valley is recommended for better acclimation. This route is much quiter route as opposed to Marangu and involves a rather gradual ascent unlike that on Umbwe Route. The walking is rather tiring. However, our itinerary is designed to provide valuable acclimatization by having shorter walking days during the trek.
