On the way to the waterfall, you will walk through the rain forest and field of banana and coffee plantation and the smell of the flowey. Your guide will tell you about the culture of Chagga and show you the flower of love and forgiveness. When you have reached the Materuni waterfall you can go and swim but remember the water is really cold. It makes sense because the water is coming from the glacier of Kilimanjaro. If you like to swim under the waterfall you can tray but the steam from the water is really strong so be careful but we know it is possible. Just have it in your mind that in Materuni you swim at your own risk.

We will first drive to the Marangu Gate. This is considered the easiest route to the peak of Kilimanjaro. From the gate, we will hike for four hours to the Mandara Huts, birdwatching and enjoying Kilimanjaro's magical forest along the way. There are several streams and small waterfalls along the way. Once we reach the Mandara Huts, we will have lunch (vegetarian options available). After lunch, we will hike back down to the base of the mountain. Going down is a lot easier than going up so it will be about a three-hour hike back to the gate.
