The longer 8 day climb allows for greater acclimatization and as such, high summit success rates.

Jozani Forest, also known as Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park, is the only national park on Zanzibar Island in Tanzania. There is a good chance that you will hear the hyenas crying or other animal sounds at night. It is absolutely safe in the tent.
