The day begins with a nice breakfast buffet to prepare the needed energy for the day's activities. After that, there will be water activities all day. We start the tour with the warm pools that have been etched onto the mountainside, later proceeding down to the turquoise thermal river for a relaxing lunch along its banks. After lunch, we will jump into the warm waters of the river before transitioning to the glorious waterfalls and caves. Before entering the caves, we will admire the view of the waterfalls that guard the natural caves we will be exploring. In the caves, we will use our lamps to walk through the warm waters extruding from within, explore the interior waterfalls, and observe the origin point of the waters that give Tolantongo its name. Tolantongo, meaning "place of warm moving water," will prove to give you an experience in Mexico unlike any other. (River and cave exploration are contingent on good weather in days before allowing for an optimal experience).

We're going to have a great time exploring Queretaro's downtown, a much-beloved neighborhood rich with history and culinary delights, on this three-hour walking and eating adventure! During this six-stop tour, you'll have the opportunity to explore some of the best casual food between Jardín Guerrero and Plaza Armas. You'll sample a variety of (vegetarian-friendly) authentic tacos, tamales, gorditas, and more, and enjoy tequila "the authentic way"! You'll meet our beloved vendors and discover for yourselves why we adore them and you'll have the opportunity to ask questions and learn about the ingredients and history of each dish. Be prepared to eat, eat, EAT walking away feeling like you've had a REALLY hearty meal. We can't wait to show you all we love about this neighborhood!

This tour will acquaint you with Queretaro “la ciudad limpia” Travelers Magazine declared Queretaro “one of the cleanest cities in the world“. The elegance of Queretaro has no match in all of Mexico. Visit its museums, el cerro de las campanas (the place where Emperor Maximilian was executed), Santa Rosa`s church. Doubtless, Queretaro is beyond comparison. We will go to your hotel in San Miguel de Allende to pick you up to start our journey to Dolores Hidalgo, who inherited the craft of Talavera pottery and ceramics that today enjoys great prestige, as well as the unusual flavors of the snows of this place. Atotonilco is known as the Mexican Sistine Chapel for all the pictorial art contained within this beautiful Sanctuary. At the end of the tour, we will take you back to your Hotel.

We proceed to get to know our vineyard, where you can enjoy the beautiful views of our hacienda, chapel and the lake. We will return to the winery so that in the production area you can learn the details of our wines and their production. We will go down to the underground barrel cellar, where you will understand the aging process of our wines. We will finish with a tasting of three of our most emblematic labels in our viewpoint. Visit a local home in San Miguel de Allende to learn the art of pre-Hispanic Mexican cooking from Isabel - a warm, dynamic and delightful Mexican grandmother (and former pediatrician) who loves to garden and cook! Isabel offers a private, authentic, hands-on Mexican cooking lesson in her home and garden that she designed herself. Isabel is incredibly passionate about pre-Hispanic cooking - in addition to learning about the culture and cuisine, you'll learn about the ancient milpa technique of farming (aka the three sisters method of growing food)! Vegetarians are welcome - just let Isabel know in advance. Isabel has fond memories of being in the kitchen with her mother who taught her to cook on pre-Hispanic clay grills and molcajetes. She is excited to create new food memories with her guests.
