Castle Valley is the poster child for Western landscapes, and you’ve probably already seen it somewhere in a western, TV show, or a commercial or two. And if somehow you have, in fact, never laid eyes on Castle Valley before, you’re not going forget it once you do! This serene section of the Colorado River moseys through a big beautiful valley lined with monuments, before cutting through a towering red rock canyon that meanders back toward Moab. Along the way are some of Utah’s most impressive geologic features like Fisher Towers, Castleton Tower, the Priest and Nuns, and so on. As for the waters here along the Colorado River, it stays pretty warm from late spring to early fall. You’ll spend most of your time floating, with a few Class II rapids to cool you off along the way. Expect river games and stories, splash fights, and lots of fun interpretations from your guides on this mild trip!

We will be navigating up and through canyons, climbing up fins, and rappeling off arches in the heart of red rock country. As the day gets warmer it will be time to eat lunch and move to the Colorado River. A dramatic change will have us stand up paddling through the canyons of the Colorado Plateau.

Our guide team is made up of master naturalists, experts with Master's degrees in outdoor and sustainability education, and more! We’ll stop at natural arches and stunning sandstone formations. We can customize the trip to your desires. If you'd like to do a longer hike, we can take you down the Devil's Garden Trail in Arches, or if you'd rather have a packed day of shorter roadside stops, we can do that as well! In the Canyonlands, you'll see the breathtaking expanse of rugged canyons, mesas, and buttes carved by the Colorado River and its tributaries. Our guides will also share stories of the park’s human and geological history, as well as information about flora and fauna. Arches National Park now requires a timed-entry ticket in order to enter; booking a guide means you bypass this system!

Our most popular trip.  This one is good for all abilities with a 4 guests to 1 guide ratio, it’s like a personal guide showing you all the tips and tricks for running rivers. As you will encounter four sets of waves and a bunch of fun river features to play on.  This is a fun section guaranteed to get you wet.  Challenging and fun for beginners as well as seasoned paddlers. You will learn river safety, have an on-land stand up paddle lesson, followed by a practice session on the water. Once everyone is comfortable, the unforgettable experience of SUPing down the Colorado River will begin.

Moab, Utah rock climbing is famous throughout the world! Blessed with a multitude of climbing routes ranging from very easy to as hard as it gets. The areas we guide, some of which take only seconds to get to, have climbing for everyone! Don’t miss the opportunity to get out and try this amazing sport. RRA provides all equipment! Experience a private desert sunset and watch the last of the light kiss the night atop a secluded high cliff inside Arches National Park. Our hidden sunset location offers a way to experience the most special moment of the day away from the massive park crowds in a way that few visitors do. Beyond and high above Landscape Arch lies an enchanted area, one of the most magical places in the park. Your visit to the upper reaches of the Devil’s Garden requires a short, but steep climb up a picturesque sandstone fin (could be an issue for some with a fear of heights or range of motion issues). Part of the hike takes place after sunset with limited natural light. This is a classic Moab mountain bike trail ride! You'll gain an elevation of approximately 700 feet as you “get your pedal on” toward the boundary of Arches National Park. Keep your eyes open for the dinosaur tracks embedded in sandstone along the way. Riders need to have very good fitness and some technical off-road riding skills in order to enjoy this tour.

This tour begins with a morning hike to Delicate Arch that is approximately 2 hours round trip. Arches National Park is known for its many natural sandstone arches.
