We also do the steep slickrock climbs and descents that no other hummer tour will do, and we do it safely with families of all age groups. We will visit at least four locations for photography in iconic Arches National Park for the afternoon golden hour and sunset. I have traveled extensively in search of amazing photographic locations, and it is hard to beat Arches National Park for the wide variety of photographic locations, and it is an official international Dark Skies park. During the busy season, I will lead the tour to locations that are less well known but still spectacular. I will show you great locations, and make suggestions on composition and subject matter. I can even help you with your camera settings if you are a beginner. After sunset. we will take a brief break for a picnic and go over camera settings for night photography while we wait for the Milky Way to emerge. (Note: in April & May, the Milky Way does not appear until after midnight, so we will return to Moab after sunset, and head back out late at night. A wee hours tour is available as a standalone tour during this time).

The Fisher Towers section of the Colorado River is HEAVY ON SCENERY, WITH SOME FUN SMALL RAPIDS, depending on the water level and time of year. This is an area where many motion pictures and commercials have been filmed over the years. John Wayne and John Ford filmed a lot of old westerns in this area. Recently filmed in this area was The Lone Ranger with Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer in 2013. More recently, HBO's Westworld, season 1, which premiered in 2016.

This is a true White Water experience!! Splash your way down the Colorado River through the rapids of Westwater Canyon, where in addition to rugged desert scenery, there’s the chance you could spot wildlife from soaring bald eagles to river otters and beavers. Over the course of a day, hold on tight as your guide helps navigate the Class III and Class IV whitewater, where rapids have names like Sock-It-To-Me, Funnel Falls and Skull. This trip provides an adrenaline rush amidst walls of red rock canyons, and is great for the traveler who loves a challenge and a bit of desert adventure.

We will visit at least two world class locations for photography in Utah's Canyonlands in the morning (sunrise), as well as several great spots in iconic Arches National Park in the afternoon (sunset). I have traveled extensively in search of amazing photographic locations, and it is hard to beat Arches, Dead Horse Point and the Islands in the Sky district of Canyonlands National Park. I will show you great locations, and make suggestions on photographic composition and subject matter. I can even help you with your camera settings if you are a beginner. We will take a break for lunch (not included) during the middle of the day when the light is not as good.

This scenic adventure explores the beautiful scenery of the wild-west along the mighty Colorado River and through historic Kane Creek. Our guides deliver a truly special tour with narration about geology, history, and the ancient civilizations of our area. We will provide you with a 4x4 called a UTV where you will have the opportunity to enjoy a "You Drive Experience!" Our four seat machines are automatic and easy to navigate. This trail is designed for those who want to get out and enjoy the great scenery of Moab, Utah and considered easy, however if you are scared of heights, this tour may not be best suited for you. On the Hurrah Pass trail you will have an up close experience of thousand year old Fremont and Ancestral Puebloan Petroglyphs with stops to take in the detail and history. Climb through the geologic time periods along the steep switchbacks to arrive at the grand finale of the Hurrah Pass Overlook, located near Canyonlands National Park.
