This tour explores the backcountry of Canyonlands National Park (Island in the Sky District) in approximately 4 hours. You will ride along in one of our 4x4 backcountry vehicles with heat and a/c for optimal comfort during all seasons. Throughout this half day experience you will learn all about the parks, history, and geology of the Moab area. Your guide will point out Arch formations, and other towering landscapes along the way. Since our tours are private we can stop for photos at any point. Sight seeing areas on this tour include but are not limited to Potash Mine, Shafer Trail, Musselman Arch, Ancient Indian Petroglyphs (Rock Carvings), Thelma and Louise point, and breathtaking canyon views. This tour will include both pavement sections and 4x4 road sections that are not paved. Water and snacks are always provided for free.

Our guided trips are in 6-person paddle rafts making for big fun. The section of Colorado River is a beautiful section of class II whitewater. We provide a healthy and delicious lunch on this all-inclusive tour. Beautiful scenery, towering red rock walls, and great guides is what you can expect with a Paddle Moab trip.

Experience the beauty of a rafting trip along the Colorado River near Fisher Towers, a short drive from Moab. Seemingly untouched by civilization, the landscape of stunning red rock canyons cut by the Colorado River provides awe-inspiring vistas throughout the day. Between thrilling bouncy rapids, you can swim, take photos and listen as your guide shares informative commentary about the ecology, wildlife and human history of the region.  This full-day trip starts by rafting upstream from Moab near stunning Fisher Towers and cover a 14-mile (22-km) section of the Colorado River. A combination of stunning canyon scenery and splashy white water makes for a fun day and photographer’s dream. Between rapids, drift lazily between soaring canyon walls and marvel at the red rock landscape along the river. At lunchtime, your guides serve a buffet-style picnic during a stop on a riverside beach.

Guests will hike their way on the rock fins towards drainages and canyons that lead to two rappels. The first rappel sends visitors into the slot canyon, Medieval Chamber. Rappelling through this canyon displays the beautiful layers of sandstone that have been dispersed over millions of years. The canyon then opens up to make way for the second rappel. This unique free hanging rappel is a breathtaking 120 feet next to Morning Glory Natural Bridge. The bridge measures 243 feet in width, making it one of the longest natural land bridges in the United States. Once at the bottom visitors are able to enjoy the scenic hike Grandstaff Canyon towards the Colorado River.

E-bikes are a quiet, fun and family friendly way to explore Moab. Kane Creek has many ancient sites and petroglyph panels. Our guides will stop at several and discuss the similarities and possible meanings of some of the glyphs. This is a trip down a beautiful canyon with amazing views and explores the edges of Moab Outback. This trip is about 1/2 on pavement and 1/2 on a dirt road with cliffs. Adult Participants must be 5' and youth must be 5'2 to fit the bikes. Please let us know ahead of time if your group will need the smaller bikes by correctly filling our paperwork.

We will Ride Pedego Electric Bikes on Moab back roads either directly to the Winery for beginner riders or a longer scenic Route with some stops for experienced riders who are comfortable going faster on the bikes and make stops at a famous Petroglyph Panel and/or a Park with a Spring that Spanish Explorers used. At the winery a Tasting session is part of the tour with the option for purchasing more drinks, or bottles of Wine to take home with you. A van ride back to the shop for a safe return is included. Riders must be 21 or Older, 5'2" and taller and please let us know if riders are more than 250llbs. This serene section of the Colorado River moseys through a big beautiful valley lined with monuments, before cutting through a towering red rock canyon that meanders back toward Moab. As for the waters here along the Colorado River, it stays pretty warm from late spring to early fall. Challenge yourself on a half-day or full-day introduction to canyoneering in the gorgeous red rock canyons of southern Utah. Suitable for physically fit and daring outdoor enthusiasts, even those new to canyoneering, both options provide plenty of thrills as you navigate the gorgeous terrain with your expert guide. Learn technical skills including rappelling, rope-assisted down climbs and chimneying through slot canyons. The half-day option is rated easy and located close to Moab; the full-day option is rated moderate and includes a 2-hour drive to reach your destination.

The tour will head north on US 191 passing the entrance of Arches National Park which was designated as a National Monument before being changed to a National Park in 1971. Our special use permit allows us to enter the back door to Arches via Willow Springs Road. Along this backcountry route, you'll travel through the new area of the "Utah Raptor State Park". Here where Native Americans lived back in history for thousands of years you'll see dinosaur tracks and enjoy the views of the La Sal Mountains. The Park lies atop an underground salt bed that is responsible for the arches, spires, and sandstone fins. Several of the stops include Eye of the Whale(Backcountry), Balanced Rock(Pavement), Sand Dune Arch(Pavement), Delicate Arche Viewpoint(Pavement), and the Windows Section(Pavement). The trip length is approximately 4 hours duration. All vehicles are Jeep Rubicons which are enclosed and air-conditioned.
