Join us for a guided sledding adventure in our 3-row Subaru Ascent through Rocky Mountain National Park on a 5 - 6 hour private tour with only your party & your guide! On our tour, you'll see a frozen waterfall, we'll drive up the iconic Trail Ridge Road as far as it is opened for the season, go sledding for up to an hour at the Hidden Valley snowplay area, if conditions allow, walk around a frozen Bear Lake or Sprague Lake (both flat & less than a mile), and you'll also visit the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center at the end of your tour. This tour is NOT a hiking tour, and focuses more on driving in the National Park with small strolls throughout. Minimum of 2 guests. *Micro spikes will be used instead of snowshoes and are included for your tour to keep you safe while walking on icy surfaces. We are only able to offer hotel pickup in Estes Park. If you're not staying in Estes Park, we can meet you at the free parking garage for the Estes Park Visitor Center for pickup.

Alpine Visitors Centre Tour - This is a great tour if you wish to cover all 3 ecosystems. We start in the lower valley and get you right up to the Alpine Visitors Centre at 11,796 feet. You will encounter breathtaking views, but remember to layer up and bring warm clothes as there is usually snow at the top year round. We get you to the areas most people drive past and give you extra time at each stop for photos. Tours are interpretive and we leave you with memories that will last a lifetime.

We are the only unguided Jeep rental service in Estes Park. In your opinion, this is the best experience. You go at your pace and create you're own adventure. If you want to take it easy, you can do that. If you want to crank it up and test your skills, you have that option. You're not forced onto one specific trail. You get to choose (Backbone Adventures help with that) a trail best suited for you.

Leave the driving to me as we travel the highest continuous road in the United States! We'll travel onto the alpine tundra above timber line and over the Continental Divide. This day hiking adventure is for women ages 18 years and older and takes us to Ouzel Falls which is a stunning 40-foot waterfall in the backcountry of Rocky Mountain National Park. We'll start in the remote Wild Basin and travel through dense pine forest while following a mountain stream and passing multiple waterfalls up to our main destination Ouzel Falls. If you love glacier-fed mountain streams, waterfalls, wild flowers, and wild life, you'll love this hike.

During the course of this adventure, we will take you through the majestic wonders of Rocky Mountain National Park. There are multiple stops along the way where you will enjoy hiking, beautiful scenery and opportunities to spot wildlife. Some walking may be involved in the tour and most of the walking areas are stroller accessible, which can be carried in the cab of the jeep, or a wheelchair person could join if they can manage getting in/out of a regular jeep. We are aware that any activity can be strenuous when performed at high altitudes. As such, no activities are mandatory, and can be omitted from your particular day with us. This tour for women includes snowshoes, trekking poles, and a knowledgeable and experienced guide who will show you how to use the gear and provide an unforgettable snowshoeing experience. We’ll visit 4 mountain lakes each with their unique charm and beauty. Along the trail, there will be stunning views of the iconic Long’s Peak at 14,156 ft above sea level. While at Emerald Lake we'll take in the breathtaking views of Hallett Peak (over 12,000 ft) and Tyndall Glacier. Even though we’ll return to the trailhead the same way we came, we'll get a different perspective of the trail and it will be equally as inspiring as the way we came.
