You will get to take a short hike or two and see fast flowing snow melt, waterfalls, and glaciers. Come and experience the awe inspiring beauty that is Rocky Mountain National Park, or “Rocky” as the locals call it. Our knowledgeable guide will give you an in depth guided tour telling you all about the science and history of Rocky and its animals. This tour travels up the famous Old Fall River Road. We will take a half-way break at the Alpine Visitor Center, which is the highest altitude visitor center of any national park. Upon leaving the Alpine Visitor Center you will journey across Trail Ridge Road, the highest continuous paved road in North America, reaching the highest point on the road at 12,183’. Coffee, hot drinks, and cold refreshments as well as a variety of snacks are provided complementary while on board.

First we drive by the Stanley Hotel and talk about its rich history, then stop at an energy vortex on your way to Sheep's Lake; where the bighorn sheep love to hangout. Take a short stroll to a glorious waterfall where you can take amazing photos. Drive up Trail Ridge Road or Old Fall River Road (a gentle one way dirt road that is open from about July 1st to Oct 1st). Travel through 3 different ecosystems while climbing over 12,000 feet in elevation. While at 12,000 feet you will take a break at the Alpine Visitor Center where you can visit the gift shop or take photos of the year-round glacial cirque. On your journey down the mountain on Trail Ridge Road, the guide will stop and allow you to stretch your legs while you admire the beautiful overlooks. Join us for an awesome experience during the the elk rut! Drive through the Rocky Mountain National Park in our 3-row Subaru Ascent on a 4 - 5 hour private tour with only your party. On our Rut Tour, you will be taken up the famous Old Fall River Road (when open, typically through Sep.) where you will see beautiful mountain views / waterfalls, stop at the highest visitor center in the US National Park System, drive back down the highest continuous paved road in the United States, Trail Ridge Road (when open, typically through Sep.), and witness the elk rut mating season in Moraine Park. When Old Fall River Road isn't open, you will drive up and back down Trail Ridge Road. This is a driving tour, NOT hiking. *Wildlife is unpredictable & we cannot guarantee sightings, but we try our best to scout the prime locations! We only offer hotel pickup in Estes Park. If you are staying outside of town, we can meet you at the free parking garage for the Estes Park Visitor Center for pickup.

This is very similar to our Sunset Tour with the added excitement in the fall when the Elk are in their Rut. We stay in the lower portion of the National Park with amazing photo opportunities of the Elk sparing, mating and bugling. This wonderful photo tour not only gets you walking to the Alluvial Fan waterfall and a relaxing walk around Sprague Lake, but also provides great opportunities to see all types of wildlife and the stunning beauty of the lower portion of the National Park in the fall with a spectacular changing color of the fall leaves. In this photo tour you have stadium seating in one of our off-road custom vehicles with a convertible top, heating, and air conditioning to make your ride as comfortable as possible. Pryography is an art technique that involves using high temperatures to 'draw' designs and patterns in to wood, and also add shading and texture to the working surface. In this Inspired Art Studio class, participants will learn the basics of this art form while creating 4 different wood art pieces, using Colorado Wildlife and the Rocky Mountain Landscape as inspiration. These pieces will then be assembled into a wall hanging or mobile art piece that can be hung in the creators home to as a souvenir of their time spent in the Colorado Rockies.
