You will also get a chance to visit the maasai tribe in their Village and learn more about their culture, spend time with them, sing, see their house and other displays.
On this adventure, you will begin your first day by doing a game drive in Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant and lion populations and abundance of baobab trees. Then you will spend the night either in Tarangire or in Karatu, which is just outside of Ngorongoro National Park. The following morning after breakfast, you will go to Lake Eyasi and visit a Hadzabe village and learn about their culture, their way of life, and how they hunt and do ironwork. That evening you will spend the night in Karatu and the following morning you will enter the Ngorongoro Crater and witness the amazing wildlife that it is home to. Then in the late afternoon, you will head back to Arusha to your residence.
As a newer route, it is more remote and arguably more beautiful, but a bit longer and slightly more expensive. It starts on the Western side of the mountain at the Londorossi Gate which is a further drive from town, and was introduced as an alternative to the Shira route.
After beautiful forests and moorlands it crosses the Shira Plateau on day 3 to connect with the Machame Route at Lava Tower and down towards Barranco Valley via the Southern Circuit. You may be lucky enough to see buffalo, elephant and other game. Because this route can be done over a longer period of time for acclimatization, it has a higher success rate of the summit.

Lake Manyara National Park is the only place where lions can be found with this atypical behaviour of climbing trees. Baboons and vervet monkeys are also found amongst the forested areas and in the more open spaces, giraffes nibble at the fresh leaves while the various types of antelopes common to the region browse for tasty shoots. After a picnic lunch, there will be more time for further game and wildlife watching before it is time to return to Arusha.

Machame route is also known as Whisky route due to its beautiful scenic as well as its land escarpment. Those people climbing Mount Kilimanjaro through Machame route feels prestige as this (Machame route) is one of the harder route in climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.

*02:00 start the steep climb to Rhino Point then to reach Cobra Point (4,350m) at sunrise
