The Tarangire National Park is known as a wonderful birding destination and also features large numbers of game, particularly during the dry season, when the Tarangire River is the only source of water in the area. The landscape is of particular interest too, due to the high number of scenic baobab trees.
The seven day Lemosho variation is preferred over the six day option because it breaks up day two into two days, providing better acclimatization and a more gradual ascent. On the seven day route, we walk from Forest Camp to Shira Camp 1 on day two, a reasonable altitude gain of 2,000 feet. Then on day three, we continue from Shira Camp 2 to the little used Moir Hut, at 13,800 feet. Overall the exposure to this altitude will help prepare the body for higher altitudes coming on the following days.
However, the trek from Barranco to Barafu, followed by the summit day are unchanged from the six day Lemosho variation. This schedule is still very tough, though the extra day on the mountain on the seven day route will help climbers deal with the exhausting itinerary better than those who opted for the six day route. However, this can be adopted to suit your preference.

There are two main corridors where you can witness the animal migration by yourself.One of them is the Southern Corridor which is located in the area of Ndutu where you can witness the great migration from December to March. The other one is the Northern Corridor which is located at the tip of Serengeti. The migration can be seen from July to November of every year.
To reach the Serengeti National Park, one has to travel 5 to 7 hours straight from the Arusha or the Moshi Town as per the Guideprivate route which is 372 Km.Then further travel to the Ngorongoro which is the entry to the Serengeti National Park for most people.

The Rongai Route is more scenic than the Marangu Route and easier than other camping route in climbing Kilimanjaro and the success rate on the Rongai Route is very high.
