Lake Manyara is a popular and accessible park that continues to delight visitors with its diversity and abundance of wildlife. The main habitats include the shallow soda lake itself which occupies about 70% of the park, the ground water forest, open grassland, acacia woodland and the rift wall. The most famous spectacle in the park are the tree-climbing lions, which are occasionally seen along branches of acacia trees. Other animals found in the park include buffalo, elephants, leopards, baboons, impala, giraffes, zebra, wildebeest, ostrich and hippos. The Machame route is one of my most recommended routes to climb Kilimanjaro as it offers great acclimatisation, allowing the climbers to “walk high, sleep low”, and as a result enjoy one of the highest summit success rate of all the routes to climb Mt Kilimanjaro. The Marangu or main route is by far the most popular way to the summit. The accommodation on the way up and down is provided in mountain huts with all the basic necessities. Best known as the Coca cola route. It is the oldest, most well established route. Many favor the Marangu route because it is considered to be the easiest path on the mountain, given its gradual slope.

It is fun touring Tanzania at the Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and the Lake Manyara National Park. Later on, you will drive back to Arusha, but with few stops at the souvenirs shops on your way.

This tour will start and end in Arusha. Early in the morning, our tour guide will visit your hotel. Upon meeting and greeting, you will be transferred to Tarangire National Park. The journey from Arusha to Tarangire is likely to last for approximately 1:30 hours. Upon arrival, you will be driven to the park entrance and afterward, you will start the remarkable game drive until late afternoon. Tarangire National Park is blessed with various wildlife species such as the Elephants, zebras, wildebeest, lions, leopard, caracal, African wild dog, honey badger, waterbucks, olive baboons, waterbuck, giraffes, impalas, elands, vervet monkeys, and many more.
