After complimentary accommodation pick-up, we will set off for the heart of Gibbston on a small private tour to visit four cellar doors and journey into the ‘valley of the vines’ to discover these vineyards nestled amongst the spectacular mountain ranges and dramatic river gorges. Before we get to the first winery there will be a stop at a scenic location and travellers will learn about wine-tasting techniques and wine aromas while soaking up the fabulous views. In one of the wineries, we will savour a vineyard platter or a cheese board to pair with the wines. There will be time for you to order more food if you think you need (at your own expense). We will visit boutique wineries that are off the beaten path. There is no set routine, so every day is an adventure. Head out on a 25 minute shuttle from Queenstown to Arrowtown. There's the opportunity to explore Arrowtown and grab a coffee before starting your ride. The route follows the stunning Arrow River Trail, crossing the river via a few spectacular bridges. From there, you'll join the Twin Rivers Trail, which follows the the Kawarau and Shotover rivers to the shores of Lake Whakatipu, with a few big climbs on this section. The ride finishes back at Around The Basin's shop in central Queenstown (3 Searle Lane). This is an awesome adventure day, and a great way to explore the purpose-built biking trails. A detailed map and full navigation is given at the start of your ride. The minimum riding distance is 35 km (21 miles) with a few decent hills. This ride is only for those who are confident and capable riders, with a good level of fitness. E-bike upgrades are also recommended. The Roxburgh Gorge Trail Experience is a purpose built Official NZ Great Ride (Grade 1 to 3) that follows the Clutha River. Alongside the Lake Dunstan Trail this is one of the ‘must do’ one day rides in Otago. Your self-guided ride explores the gold rush Gorge by bike and boat delivering an exceptional experience. Hosted by a Qualmark Gold accredited NZ Great Ride Official Partner who will sort out everything for you including bikes, boats and return transport. The jet boat/boat transfer cost ($155) is included in the package price. A covered boat is used in the cooler months replacing the jet boat.

Challenge yourself and your friends to walk the dark hallways of Queenstown's newest adrenalin-pumping experience. You walk through our haunted hallways at your own speed, following a trail of red lights, but one thing you will learn very quickly as well as a maze we are a live action haunted house.
