This 4.5-hour trip includes a landing in Milford Sound with up to 2 hours on the ground to take a self-guided walk along the shore line, soak up the surroundings, take pictures or have delicious coffee and cake at the cafe (at own expense) before your return scenic flight to Queenstown.

This 3/4 Day ride begins with a shuttle from Around The Basin’s shop in Queenstown out to their bike-hub at Arrow Junction (7 km away from Arrowtown). There you will be fitted to a bike and given all the info you need to know about the wineries. The first part of the ride is along a 6 km (4 miles) section of scenic bike trail. It follows the Arrow and Kawarau river gorges, over the Edgar Swing Bridge, and onto the Kawarau Bungy-Jump Bridge. The afternoon will be spent biking along the magnificent Gibbston River Trail, visiting as many of the cellar doors as you like. Enjoy a relaxed lunch at one of the wineries. If you ride all the way to the end, you will cover around 17 km (11 miles) on easy-riding, gravel bike trail. The return shuttle will pick you up at 4:30 pm from your winery of choice in the Gibbston Valley. This trail travels alongside Lake Dunstan on the opposite side of the lake to the road that travels between Cromwell and Clyde. The engineering involved to create this trail is stunning with clip-ons attached to the rockface in places, the Hugo Suspension Bridge plus a very good trail surface throughout the ride. The views and scenery on this ride are fantastic and you can fully understand the history of the area - from the goldrush to the building of NZ's largest dam - by reading the information boards along the way.

Rated one of the world’s best classic hikes, the Routeburn Track combines personal achievement with awe-inspiring scenery. With this half-day tour, enjoy a more relaxed pace through the forest and into a world of peace and tranquility surrounded by the sounds of rivers, waterfalls and native birds.

We'll whisk you up to the Cromwell Heritage Precinct in our deluxe airconditioned vans, take a photo of you on your phone or camera and answer any last minute questions. Since you're riding back to your car or accommodation in Clyde you'll have plenty of time to experience all this ride has to offer.
