This trail travels alongside Lake Dunstan on the opposite side of the lake to the road that travels between Cromwell and Clyde. The engineering involved to create this trail is stunning with clip-ons attached to the rockface in places, the Hugo Suspension Bridge plus a very good trail surface throughout the ride. The views and scenery on this ride are fantastic and you can fully understand the history of the area - from the goldrush to the building of NZ's largest dam - by reading the information boards along the way.

From Queenstown our first stop is the Bob’s Cove Nature Walk, a short distance from Queenstown with diverse native vegetation on the lakeshore zone, bustling with native bird life with the Remarkables mountain backdrop. We continue our drive on one of the most beautiful road journeys to the western end of Lake Wakatipu, where the stunning backdrop of Mt Aspiring National park surrounded by snow capped mountains lies before you to explore. Allow 1.5 hours Includes 1 landing on a glacier In the Queenstown area, we have three of the largest glaciers in New Zealand’s South Island and they are all above 6000 ft. Our Milford Sound and Glacier experience combines a scenic flight over the Southern Alps to the majestic Milford Sound, where you will fly over the Sound before heading north to the glacier areas. We will land beside one of the glaciers, providing the ideal opportunity for you to explore and take some memorable photographs.

The Otago Central Rail Trail is the Original Great Ride in New Zealand's burgeoning Cycle Trails Network. This particular section of the trail is the most spectacular - it also suits travelers on a short time frame and a high level of fitness is not required.
