The bus will pick you up promptly from your assigned location and take you to Sfakia which is located in southern Chania. From there you will enter the boat that will take you to Glyka Nera. Glyka Nera it's one the most beautiful beaches in Crete. Its name stems from the fresh water spring that bubbles up amongst the pebbles. It is a spectacular beach with crystal clear turquoise water and rugger cliffs. Here you will have 2 hours free time. You then board the boat which will take you to Loutro. Loutro is amphitheatrically built above the bay where you can soak up the beautiful surroundings. Here you will have 3 hours of free time to eat in one of the many exceptional restaurants or take a swim and relax along the beachside. The last stop is in Sfakia where you will have free time to explore the charming seaside village. Sfakia is surrounded by untamed landscapes which makes it the perfect end to this exciting excursion. Our bus will be waiting to take you back to Rethymno.

Elafonisi in southwest of Crete is famous for its pink sand and low turquoise waters. Repeatedly this beach has been chosen to be among the world’s most beautiful. The pink sand is produced by the large amount of pink shells that get ground up by the sea. The area is a part of the European Natura 2000 protecting program. The water is generally quite shallow and safe for children. .For a most conferrable journey to/from Rethymno we make some stops.Agia Sophia Cave is a place of archaeological, geological and historical interest. The small church of Agia Sophia lays at the entrance to the cave that contains many rows of massive stalactites and stalagmites. Crete has a history of wine making and boasts a few of the best beaches in the world. After driving through villages we will visit an ancient olive tree from 2000BC. A short distance away will taste local wine. Then I will drive to Falassarna beach where you can spend 2 hours on the beach. Falassarna is a long beach with crystal clear waters. Its less crowded than other popular beaches. There is an option to customise the tour and do an olive oil or beer tasting, visit a monastery or other archaeological sites. There is so much to see in west Crete. No tours on weekends or holidays. Locations can be visited 1st April to beginning of November, depending availability.
