This transfer is one of a kind because you will be in the comfort of a private minivan with an experienced driver that will drive you safely from the airport to Kolymbari. On the way to the airport, you will also see specific places in Crete that you may ask us about.

This is a private tour with a 7-seater van for a maximum 6 guests (price is for 6 persons). We will drive through spectacular natural scenery, inside Therisso gorge leading to the foot of the White Mountains, where the restaurant is located. It’s not only a nature experience through the gorge but also a cultural one as we will visit a small Byzantine church and the lunch at the end is an experience by itself. On the way back we drive by the side of mountain over Chania with panoramic view of the White Mountains, Chania and Souda port. All food is cooked in wood oven, from bread to the local Cretan and Greek recipes. You will taste a range of Cretan dishes in small plates, with home-made organic wine. We will not leave the restaurant until you are full! Food is paid separately, around 20 euro per person. Will show you the cellar and tour the farm.

Day for Children. We have something exciting for the little travelers! First, we’ll visit the biggest aquarium in Greece- "CretAquarium". Here, they will feel like they’re in the ocean! Amazing luminous jellyfish, sharks, squids, and many more you couldn’t have even thought about. Dinosaur Park! Super exciting and entertaining, it will be interesting for children of all ages. Here you’ll find a museum with full-size skeletons. And, of course, huge park where moving and growling dinosaurs await at every corner! And Labyrinth park will let you dive into the history and feel like famous Theseus hero. Try to escape the Labyrinth in time and get a prize! Don’t worry, Minotaur is already captured and won’t get to you! We’ll visit a pottery class where children will be able to try working a throwing wheel and create their own masterpiece.

The Samaria Gorge, the gem of the White Mountains, is the largest gorge in Europe, stretching 18 kilometers in the southern Chania district. Recognized by UNESCO's Man and Biosphere program in 1981, it protects valuable habitats. A visit to Samaria is essential for any trip to Chania, as its breathtaking beauty never disappoints. The trail starts at Ksyloskalo on the Omalos plateau (1,227 meters altitude) and follows the riverbed, ending at Agia Roumeli. This well-marked, 5-6 hour hike is Greece’s most visited trail, open from April to October. Though not overly strenuous, some sections require caution. Your experienced guide ensures safety throughout. Trip Schedule: Hotel pick-up and drive to Omalos. Hike through the gorge with your guide. Free time in Agia Roumeli for lunch or swimming. Ferry to Sfakia or Sougia at 17:30. Return transfer to your hotel.

If you are looking for a light hike combining a beach or winery, this is the perfect tour for you! Imbros gorge is located south of Lefka Ori mountains and take less than 3 hours to cross. The hike starts from Imbros village. I will drop you off at the entrance, then pick you up at the end. Most of the hike is in the shade with a narrow trail that you cannot be lost. There is a small stream which is dry in the summer so it's good to have a sufficient supply of water. Imbros gorge is a small version of Samaria gorge. Imbros is breathtaking, ideal for nature lovers and wildlife watchers. Being a dad, I believe its the best hike for children from 10 years old. After Imbros we will visit Frangokastello beach and stay 2 hours. If you wish you could eat in the local restaurant in front of the beach. Alternatively instead of the beach we could do a wine tasting at a winery for an hour. We could make a final optional visit to an oil factory for 30 minutes.

In this tour we will visit the famous Arkadi Monastery, followed by a trip to the museum of Ancient Eleftherna. We will then be visiting the traditional village of Margarites well known for its excellent pottery making. Our next stop will be the Melidoni Cave, a natural wonder steeped in history and legend. Our final destination will be the Bali lagoon where you will be able to swim in one of the beautiful beaches and have lunch in one of the many tavernas.
