Driving to the west of the island, we make our first stop in the beautiful city of Rethimnon, where we have some time for our coffee of breakfast. Moving on, we drive past the city of Chania and after a while, we arrive at the port of Kissamos, where we set out for our trip. This is a private tour with a 7-seater van for a maximum 6 guests. The first references of wine and olive oil in Crete date back to 5.000BC during the Minoan civilization. 7.000 years later, Cretans produce wine, beer and olive oil on the same land, with the only changes the enhancement of production through technology and the optimization of crops! In this tour we will visit a Winery, a Beer and an Olive Oil Factory. They have high standards of production, marrying the old traditions with modern technology. In each location we will spend around one hour touring the facilities and doing a tasting. We will drive through the Cretan countryside, visit a 5000 year old olive tree and have lunch at a local restaurant.
