This two-day trip includes rafting on the Zambezi, camping by the river, and visiting a local village to learn about its customs. Evenings are spent around the campfire, sharing experiences. The expedition combines rafting with cultural exploration along the river.

Savannah Adventures Signature Safari Game Drive is to explore the vast wilderness of the African Savannah with its unique wildlife. We are just one of a very few companies that even offer this tour, because it takes a bit longer then the regular Safari to Zambezi National Park. After our short briefing, we start our safari game drive where a wide variety of larger mammals may be found.Within the Chamabondo Park we encounter frequently elephants, lions, buffalos and leopards. In addition, herds of different antilopes and different smaller species of plains game can be viewed. However the park is not a fenced area as the animals are always on the move meaning to say its all about being at the right place, at the right time. It is not a Zoo. After an exciting drive, we stop at a scenic and safe location for a refreshing break. Our guests enjoy some refreshments as well with the high tea that comes along with fruits and some light snacks.

No photograph can begin to depict the reality and nothing prepares you for your first sight. The river is a kilometer wide and in places a bit more. It has an indescribable beauty with crystal clear waters and a myriad of islands. The trip starts with pickup from your hotel or lodge at around 7 am and an early morning game drive through the Zambezi National Park. At the put-in point, a continental breakfast is served while your canoe guide gives you a safety briefing, instructions, and information on the condition of the river and what to expect. Cameras and videos can be taken on the trip with the guides keeping them safe in a waterproof bag in the wetter sections. On these canoe trips, guests paddle their own canoes/kayaks following their experienced canoe guide. You don't have to be a canoeing expert and a life-jacket will be provided.

If there’s one memory that you’ll take away from a Chobe safari, it’s that of elephants. Wake up around 6:30 for tea & coffee and biscuits followed by breakfast .This includes eggs , backed beans , sausages , beacon tomato onion, toast, batter and jam.About an hour drive to the launch site, safety talk and demonstration on how to paddle an inflatable canoe will be given after which you will be launched then paddling through some awesome Tsowa channels until a stop is made for a pic-niclunch . After lunch there is time for siesta to avoid worst heat of the day , and then paddling recommences. At approximately 16:00 we arrive into camp for some sun downer drinks and there will be time to have a warmbucket shower hoisted on a tree and dinner follows.
