Musi-oa-Tunya National Park is a wildlife sanctuary on the banks of the Zambezi River and it is the only part among the 19 in Zambia which is fenced. It is 20 kms square, and gives clients the opportunity to view and photograph animals at close range. It boasts 3 white rhino, various antelope, buffalo, giraffe, wildebeest, kudu, waterbuck, warthog and zebra. There is beautiful riverine vegetation and stunning views across the Zambezi River. It is also possible to see Old Drift where the settlers lived before 1904

After the Museum tour clients will do a quick city tour of Livingstone with a Commentary while driving slowly explaining the Historical tour of Livingstone. Stopping at major Historical Buildings and delegates are free to take pictures. The town of Livingstone was moved from Old Drift in 1905 when it was decided that a location on Constitution Hill would be healthier than one on the River. The town was carefully planned with wide streets, avenues of beautiful trees, buildings with high ceilings and mosquito-netted verandahs. Clients are taken to view the famous Curio market which is a bustling colourful market where the local Zambians come to shop. The market sells everything from bright chitenge (local fabric), bags, curios made from different types of trees, copper bracelets, Wall clocks, African Maps using the Big 5 animals etc. This Market is situated in a small park in the centre of town. After the tour clients are transferred back to hotel.

The Chobe Day Trip picks up from 07hours from Livingstone - destination Chobe National Park in Botswana. If you are coming from Livingstone, you will travel to the Kazungula Bridge and then across to Kasane. If you are coming from Victoria Falls, you will be transferred by vehicle to the Kazungula Border which is the border post between Zimbabwe and Botswana - a distance of 70km - here your Botswana Guide will meet you. Start either with a Game drive, lunch then River safari cruise or the other way round.

This bike tour is the best way to explore the city of Livingstone. You will ride along the picturesque Zambezi river, visit local villages and markets, and interact with locals. Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, Livingstone – Walking Safari Enjoy a 3 hour leisurely walk in the Mosi-oa-Tunya Park led by a professional guide and park scout. Experience up-close encounters with the endangered white rhino and other wildlife, including buffalo, hippo, impala and warthog. The extensive knowledge of the Guide is not just about the many species of animals and birds but also about the wide variety of trees and plant life along with their local medicinal properties and uses. NB – not all animal sightings can be guaranteed.

The bush’s fantastic flora: teaks, mahoganies, mopanes and marula trees which for elephants are a real delicacy are some interesting plants you will find. The Walking safaris through the Musi-Ou-Tunya national park and surrounding areas are suitable for active and adventurous participants. Note: Participants coming from Zimbabwe are met at the Zimbabwean border and transferred to the starting point for an additional fee (See inclusions and exclusions section).

The Pick-up and transfer – The Walking Safari Experience starts early with your collection from your Lodge or Hotel, and your transfer to the Park, which takes approximately 15-20mins. The early start is necessary to avoid walking in the heat, which can build up very quickly. It is important you have suitable walking shoes, hats and bush friendly attire. On arrival at the Park Gate we will organize an escort Scout to accompany the group and take a short drive to where we will start the Walk. The Guide will find the White Rhino and track as much of the large game as possible. Cold water is supplied on the Walk but half way through the Guide will stop at a suitable spot for refreshments, which consists of Homemade iced lemon juice with cake and cookies to recharge your energy levels.
