Devil's Pool is open during the drier months of the year, usually between mid August and mid January, when the Zambezi water levels are low enough for swimmers to take the plunge. The town of Livingstone was moved from Old Drift in 1905 when it was decided that a location on Constitution Hill would be healthier than one on the River. The town was carefully planned with wide streets, avenues of beautiful trees, buildings with high ceilings and mosquito-netted verandahs. Clients are taken to view the famous Curio market which is a bustling colourful market where the local Zambians come to shop. The market sells everything from bright chitenge (local fabric), bags, curios made from different types of trees, copper bracelets, Wall clocks, African Maps using the Big 5 animals etc. This Market is situated in a small park in the centre of town. After the tour clients are transferred back to hotel.

A short visit around Livingstone would not be complete without a Chobe day trip, Chobe national park is the closest to Livingstone to which you sneak in the morning and back in the evening with an assured wild experience, water, and land. It includes a three-hour river safari, lunch which is a buffet and a three-hour game drive. Children under 18 years need to carry their birth certificate and letter of consent from both parents/guardian allowing them to travel into Botswana

Sunset Cruise trips along the Zambezi are a magnificent and extremely popular way to experience the river. All the boats, bar the jet boats, navigate a 6 km stretch of river above the Falls themselves, shallow waters and hazardous rocks prevent them from venturing any further. Although you do not see the Falls themselves during a cruise, a cloud of spray, visible from the boats, sits on the horizon, crowning the waterfall. This section of river, which starts 3kms above the Falls is placid and wide and dissected with many islands. Resident hippo and crocodile are guaranteed sightings, whilst elephant herds are often seen as they cross from one island to the other in search of food.
