I am a long time local and guide who has worked with thousands of people. This experience is meeting up with me to learn something about the area and check in with where you are at and offer a series of mindfulness prompts to do on a trail you pick.I do not go with you as a hiking guide.We use Whats app to stay in touch and I also offer local tips, hiking suggestions and answer questions about the area. I'm basically an expert guide in your pocket. I would say this experience is best for the person who really wants to slow down and find a connection with the land. You will be able to see the largest collection of Sinagua pottery and be fascinated by the lifestyle enjoyed by these people of the past. We will then head over to historic town of Jerome, Arizona. See a glimpse of what was once a wild west mining town, that is now a charming artist community. You will be surprised by the quirky cool homes built right on the side of Mingus Mountain, and learn the folklore of this haunted town. You will visit relics of the old mining activities. You will have time for shopping, the stores in Jerome have many unique items, and with the local artists who inhabit the town, you are sure to find artwork or crafts that you love. There will be time for lunch on your own while in Jerome.
