Beginning from our store location, the first stop on this leisurely tour is the historic Gaslamp Quarter, established in the 1860s and redeveloped in the 1980s. From there, you’ll ride your pedal assist eBikes to the San Diego Bay, where you’ll learn the history of the USS Midway, Billionaire Row, and The Bob Hope Memorial. Our licensed tour guides will then lead you through Balboa Park, measuring just under five kilometers or 1,200 acres. In Balboa Park, you will ride past and learn about the San Diego Zoo, the Spanish Village Art Center, and the famous Casa de Balboa. This city is perfect for animal lovers, beach enthusiasts, and outdoorsy folks! Our guides are happy to take plenty of pictures for you so you can cherish the memories. We roll along the harbor with a beautiful view of the San Diego skyline on our side. We make our way through the tree lined roads of this slice of heaven, past some of the most architecturally distinct homes, including the Wizard of Oz house, to the historic Hotel Del Coronado. Here you'll have time to explore this famous landmark as well as the #1 rated beach in America. Then we roll to a quiet little beach/park to enjoy the scenic view of the Coronado Bridge as well as a statue dedicated to the U.S. Navy SEALs who train just down the road at the Naval Amphibious Base.

Coronado is just across the bay from downtown San Diego. If you want to enjoy the outdoors while exploring San Diego at a slower pace this is the way to do it! We’ll ride under the Coronado Bridge, through the island, over the Silver Strand. The Silver Strand parallels the ocean and San Diego Bay, often called the most beautiful and cyclist-friendly bike route in Southern California. We’ll pass gorgeous Victorian homes and stop at the famous (and infamous!) Hotel del Coronado, where we may have some ice cream! Meet your guide and group at Old Adobe Chapel, which can be credited for saving Old Town San Diego thanks to a 1884 book. Continue on to one of the most haunted homes in Southern California, also unusual for its architecture and building materials. After a view of some Victorian architecture we'll pass by the original location of the Presidio and Mission when the Spanish first settled in California. Admire the oldest 18th-century structure in the area and learn about the indigenous tribes who lived here for thousands of years. Back in town, we'll see some authentic Mexican handcrafts (no bad souvenirs here!), visit a hundred year old Catholic church that is a descendant of the original Mission, followed by a stroll through a landmark cemetery with graves dating back to the 1850s.
