Next, we will briefly cruise to the entrance to the San Diego Zoo before heading to the Spanish Village Arts Center. We will then scoot to the Morton Bay Fig Tree. It's then time to ride down the iconic El Prado passing fountains & museums along the way. After a quick stop, we will head past the International cottages on our way to the air and space museum. Join Murder n’ Mayhem for a Historical True Crime Tour of the Gaslamp Quarter in downtown San Diego. You will walk through several eras in time as you explore interesting stories of true crime. You will also learn the darker history of the Gaslamp Quarter, the area formerly known as the Stingaree. You will visit a historic hotel where a ghost is said to STILL haunt his room. Then you will travel in time to the roaring 1920’s. Next you will move forward a little over 10 years to become familiar with the 3rd victim of a San Diego Serial Killer. And last, we will share the most horrific crime to take place in downtown San Diego. * Please note due to the graphic nature of the murder cases we advise extreme caution for children under 13. After a view of some Victorian architecture we'll pass by the original location of the Presidio and Mission when the Spanish first settled in California. Admire the oldest 18th-century structure in the area and learn about the indigenous tribes who lived here for thousands of years. Back in town, we'll see some authentic Mexican handcrafts (no bad souvenirs here!), visit a hundred year old Catholic church that is a descendant of the original Mission, followed by a stroll through a landmark cemetery with graves dating back to the 1850s.
