Our Private Emerald Bay Cruises are 1.5-hours, departing either in the morning or afternoon. Explore Lake Tahoe’s picturesque west shoreline and experience the pristine waters of Emerald Bay. See Lake Tahoe’s most breathtaking views including Fannett Island, Eagle Falls, and Eagle Point. We depart from the Tahoe Keys Marina and take guests along the beautiful west shore into Emerald Bay to view Lake Tahoe’s hidden castle the Vikingsholm and the Tea House on Fannette Island. From there we continue back across the lake from Emerald Bay to the Marina. We provide a cooler with bottled water and sodas. Guests are welcome to bring snacks and beverages of their choice. Alcohol is allowed.

All of our guides are Lifeguard Certified with the American Red Cross, and we allow our guest to swim if they like during the tour ;-) We use Light Weight Fully Carbon Fiber Paddles for enhanced user experience. During our tour, you will get the chance to encounter Lake Tahoe from a whole new perspective. We will spend 1.5 hours on the lake exploring the beautiful eastern shoreline and viewing some of the most photographed and iconic granite boulders on the lake. On warmer days we encourage guests to swim, cooling off in lake Tahoes mostly sub 70 degree water. There is also an option to jump off some rocks into the water for a more thrilling adventure. Being near a river offers many great sights and sounds. Being in the river casting a fly to wild trout is a whole other experience all together. Fly Fishing is a great way to immerse yourself in the outdoors and interact directly with the environment. I offer half day (5 hrs) fly fishing guide trips. Guide trips are for anglers of all levels. If it’s your first time fly fishing we make sure to take the time to teach you the skills at your pace. We go over things like casting the rod, understanding what trout eat and of course how to hook and bring a fish to the net unharmed and then released back into its habit. You will need to provide a California fishing license for each angler over the age of 16, these can be purchased online. All trips are CATCH AND RELEASE and all inclusive with rods, reels, flys, waders and boots.

With its big powerful engine, this will take you back to the grand days on the water on the 50's. It's a truly unique experience. ​ Private charters with a maximum of 6 people. Perfect for a couples night-out, special occasion birthday, anniversary cruise or an intimate wedding. Radiance cruises are best appreciated during the early morning and evening alpenglow hours. Daytime lake conditions are less predictable, yet cruises are available and always a good time. Our staff at Alpenglow Boat Company are delighted to create special event cruises with clients, such as full moon stargazing and sunrise tours. Just ask!

You can feel comfortable getting on bike trails even if you don't have experience. Our bike guides will make sure you are safe so you can enjoy this awesome experience! This unique opportunity helps guests get off the bike path and onto trails with better views, even if they have never biked on trails before!

The ultimate fun party day on the Lake.! Kick back and relax while your Captain does the driving there will be a captains fee of $40 an hour for more than 8 guests. On this charter – the day is yours to see as much as time permits, or anchor, relax and enjoy the lake. A must-visit is Camp Richardson, home of the original Rum Runner. We’ll cruise from there through Emerald Bay, past the beautiful Vikingsholm Estate. The next stop is Rubicon Bay, perfect for a dip in the lake. After the refreshing dip, it’s full speed ahead across the lake, 11 miles to one of our favorite bars, the Tiki Hut at Round Hill Pines Beach. With the golden sand of the beach hut, you’ll think you’re on a Caribbean island. We’ll stop here for their famous Pain Killer drink. Trust us, one is enough! We’ll round out the afternoon with a slow rollback to the South Shore. Bring your own drinks and food on board. Note, that there is no restroom on board, but there are stops along the way.

It's also a fantastic launch point for some of the best views in Lake Tahoe. Just a 10 minute paddle from our beach, you'll access a wildlife preserve, secret beach, and the mouth of the Upper Truckee River. You'll also have sweeping views of some of Tahoe's tallest mountains.
