All of our guides are Lifeguard Certified with the American Red Cross, and we allow our guest to swim if they like during the tour ;-) We use Light Weight Fully Carbon Fiber Paddles for enhanced user experience. During our tour, you will get the chance to encounter Lake Tahoe from a whole new perspective. We will spend 1.5 hours on the lake exploring the beautiful eastern shoreline and viewing some of the most photographed and iconic granite boulders on the lake. On warmer days we encourage guests to swim, cooling off in lake Tahoes mostly sub 70 degree water. There is also an option to jump off some rocks into the water for a more thrilling adventure. Weight limits apply: Maximum per-passenger weight is 250lbs. Maximum weight of all passengers combined must not exceed 500lbs. Passenger weights must be accurately provided at time of booking. Groups reaching a combined weight of 500 lbs will be subject to a weight check upon arrival for their flight. Any individual weighing 300 lbs or more will not be permitted to fly per the limitations of the aircraft. Any cancellation of a planned flight due to weights exceeding the maximum allowable aircraft weight (individual or combined) will be charged at full price. This tour encompasses the entire south shore of Lake Tahoe, starting with a trip up the east shore into Nevada. Witness the beautiful indigo blue waters and teal shorelines as you fly to Zephyr Cove. Lakeview Commons/El Dorado Beach is our launch point, and this location is very easy to park and access. It's centrally located in South Lake Tahoe, CA. It's also a fantastic launch point for some of the best views in Lake Tahoe. Just a 10 minute paddle from our beach, you'll access a wildlife preserve, secret beach, and the mouth of the Upper Truckee River. You'll also have sweeping views of some of Tahoe's tallest mountains. Lake Tahoe is a year-round playground offering incredible hiking, boating, and kayaking through most of the summer and some of the best skiing in North America in the winter. Ringed by massive mountains and beautiful pine forest, the lake is the largest alpine lake in North America and one of the deepest in the United States. Our Private Emerald Bay Cruises are 1.5-hours, departing either in the morning or afternoon. Explore Lake Tahoe’s picturesque west shoreline and experience the pristine waters of Emerald Bay. See Lake Tahoe’s most breathtaking views including Fannett Island, Eagle Falls, and Eagle Point. We depart from the Tahoe Keys Marina and take guests along the beautiful west shore into Emerald Bay to view Lake Tahoe’s hidden castle the Vikingsholm and the Tea House on Fannette Island. From there we continue back across the lake from Emerald Bay to the Marina. We provide a cooler with bottled water and sodas. Guests are welcome to bring snacks and beverages of their choice. Alcohol is allowed.
