Exploring Tahoe National Forest is a wonderful activity any time of the year and at any time of day. There is an extra level of uniqueness and specialty due to this experience taking place under the moon and starlit sky. The reflective light from the snow illuminates the forest allowing us to explore without any use of headlamps. Snow crystals flicker with the light on the surface of the snow. Constellations and bright stars blanket the sky above.

Our Private Emerald Bay Cruises are 2-hours, departing either in the morning or afternoon. Explore Lake Tahoe’s picturesque west shoreline and experience the pristine waters of Emerald Bay and Rubicon Bay. See Lake Tahoe’s most breathtaking views including Fannett Island, Eagle Falls, Rubicon Point and Rubicon Bay. We can pull up and anchor at one of Lake Tahoe’s pristine coves or beaches for a picnic or a swim in the Caribbean colored water. We depart from the Tahoe Keys Marina and take guests along the beautiful west shore into Emerald Bay to view Lake Tahoe’s hidden castle the Vikingsholm, Eagle Falls and the Tea House on Fannette Island. Then, we cruise up the west shore through the Caribbean waters or Rubicon Bay and then back across the lake to the Marina. We provide a cooler with bottled water and sodas. Guests are welcome to bring snacks, packed lunches and beverages of their choice. Alcohol is allowed.

Weight limits apply: Maximum per-passenger weight is 250lbs. Maximum weight of all passengers combined must not exceed 500lbs. Passenger weights must be accurately provided at time of booking. Groups reaching a combined weight of 500 lbs will be subject to a weight check upon arrival for their flight. Any individual weighing 300 lbs or more will not be permitted to fly per the limitations of the aircraft. Any cancellation of a planned flight due to weights exceeding the maximum allowable aircraft weight (individual or combined) will be charged at full price. This 45 minute ride follows Lake Tahoe's pristine 72 mile shoreline, shimmering in shades of green and blue. While most of the shoreline is visible from the roads and highways circling the lake, nothing can compare to the view from a helicopter! I would love to be your Tahoe local friend and lead you on a 2 mile hike to a beautiful overlook of Emerald Bay and the ENTIRE Lake Tahoe basin. In my 25 years of living here, I have explored many of the trails and much of shoreline around Tahoe and this vantage point is one of my favorites. Also available for the sunrise, sunset, and/or moonrise! Great for groups and team building. Beginner and kid friendly too. Intermediate-level hike available too. I am happy to try and accommodate mobility challenged/differently abled folks on the hike. The experience begins with a paved walk on a campground road. Then the trail turns to dirt with a slight incline for about ¼ mile until we get to the lookout point. If you are visiting Tahoe during the winter time, the hike will most likely be covered in snow. Snow boots or hiking boots will be needed. I can bring a sled to help tow the kiddos. The hike may be weather dependent due to heavy snowfall.
