An excellent, extended safari which gives us plenty of time in beautiful Serengeti National Park, and also introduces us to the magic of Tanzania’s other natural Northern Circuit attractions. We will begin our adventure on this five-day adventure in Lake Manyara, small but certainly not lacking in interesting sights, sounds and smells and set against a dramatic backdrop of the Rift Valley escarpment, not forgetting the glistening lake itself. In Serengeti, we will have a full program of game-drives, letting us explore the stunning and varied landscapes of this famous place. All the time, we’ll be looking for the best wildlife experiences, before we depart for another Tanzanian gem, the incomparable crater of Ngorongoro, on the lookout for a black rhino. Then, we finish our adventure in Tarangire National Park, another of the Northern Circuit’s true jewels and famous for its large herd of elephants and iconic baobab trees.
The safari takes you around the best places in Tanzania, visiting places such as Lake Manyara which is famous for its tree climbing lions, The Ngorongoro Crater which is known also as the Garden of Eden, Serengeti National Park which will give you the chance to experience the BIG 5.
The Lemosho route is considered one of the easier routes on Kilimanjaro, as its longer itinerary allows for better acclimatization. However, hikers will still need to ascend the Barranco Wall and climb steeply on summit night.
The 8-day Lemosho climb gives one of the highest success rates, rather than trying to squeeze the climb into 7 days. The extra day allows for a shorter pre-summit day, meaning that you arrive at base camp by lunchtime, fuel up with food, and tuck up in your tent to rest for what will be a tough summit ascent starting at midnight.
Experienced and already acclimatised mountaineers may opt for the more difficult 7-day ascent along the Lemosho route.
No technical climbing is required, but a good level of fitness is recommended.
In the early morning, you will be picked up from your hotel for a scenic drive to Ngorongoro crater, via Manyara, Karatu. Upon arrival, and after entry formalities, you`ll descend into the crater floor for wonderful game drives. Ngorongoro crater is a vast, pristine volcanic caldera, spanning over 102 square miles, encircled by towering 2,000-foot-high walls. Within this natural haven reside rare and endangered black rhinoceros, black-backed jackals, hippos, regal secretary birds, graceful ostriches, formidable buffaloes, wildebeests, ibis’ stocks, starlings, majestic lions, gentle elephants, kori bustards, elegant crane birds, cunning hyenas, fleet-footed gazelles, playful baboons, sturdy warthogs, stately elands, leopards, vultures, sand grouse, and a myriad of other captivating creatures. After an exhilarating day of game drives and a delightful lunch, you'll ascend the crater walls and drive back to Arusha with a drop off at your hotel or residence.. Lunch Included.

We’ll pick you up from your hotel in the morning for the long ride to the Chemka Hot Springs. The road is bumpy and windy, so hang on! During the ride, don’t forget to enjoy the wonderful scenery and authentic Tanzanian life as it unfolds along the road.
When we arrive, you’re free to be you. Linger at the edge of the springs, taking in the blue, blue waters and the lush green of the surrounding forest. Take a leisurely swim (don’t forget that the water is not truly warm, so you won’t feel like an Olympic sprint) or float in a world that’s all your own, listening to the water lapping and the birds overhead but rather refreshing since the water source is from the Kilimanjaro mountain itself.. If you’re feeling adventurous, why not play on the rope swing? Playing isn’t just for kids!

Very similar to Lemosho route, however it starts at 3,600 meters and is therefore not ideal for trekkers who have little or no experience of high altitude trekking.
On the first day you begin at Shira Gate to Simba Camp before joining the Lemosho Route on day two at Shira Camp 2. The high starting point is however a major negative for this route as many experience altitude sickness from day one without enough time to acclimatize.
The route over the Shira Plateau has several possible variations. After Shira Camp 2 the route joins the Machame Route via Lava Tower, and then descends to the Barranco Camp via the Southern Circuit. Ascent to Uhuru Peak is made via Barafu Camp and up the southern slopes of Kibo.
The route is seldom used by other trekkers and so your initial two days on the mountain are less crowded than on most other routes.
Beginning in Arusha, you'll head out to some of Africa's most famous safari destinations to see the wild drama of the African savannah play out before your eyes. Afterwards, you'll take a much deserved rest on the white sand beaches of the fabled spice island of Zanzibar.
The Rongai route begins its ascent of Kilimanjaro from the northeastern side of the mountain, along the border between Tanzania and Kenya. Experienced guides consider the Rongai route to be both easier and more scenic than the Marangu Trail. Rongai Also known as the Nalemuru route. Although the scenery is not as varied as the western routes, Rongai makes up for this by passing through true wilderness areas for days before joining the Marangu route at Kibo camp . Summit attempts begin in the pre-dawn hours, with climbers usually reaching Gillman's Point at sunrise. For those who feel strong enough, an approximately three hour round trip hike will take you from Gillman's Point to Uhuru Peak.
We as Golden Summit Adventures is to assure climbing mountain Kilimanjaro, Mount Meru, cultural tourism, beach holiday and day trip. It is our goal to fulfill your dreams.
"Whiskey Route" Reputation: Known as the "Whiskey Route," the Machame is more challenging than other Kilimanjaro routes, offering a thrilling adventure for trekkers seeking a rewarding, moderately tough ascent.
Scenic Variation: This route boasts dramatic scenery with diverse landscapes, including lush rainforests, heather zones, alpine deserts, and the snowy summit, making it one of the most scenic Kilimanjaro trails.
Steeper, Non-Technical Climb: Though physically demanding, Machame doesn’t require technical climbing skills, making it accessible to fit, determined trekkers without the need for specialized gear.
Unique Day/Night Summit Push: The final ascent to Uhuru Peak begins around midnight, allowing trekkers to reach the summit by sunrise, an unforgettable experience with panoramic views across Africa.
With fewer than 10 percent of climbers on this trail and the potential to see a variety of wildlife through dense jungle, Lemosho is our favorite way to enter the mountain. At 72 km (almost 45 miles), the longer route allows for more thorough acclimatization and a higher success rate to the summit.
The trail passes through five ecosystems, from dense forest and heather up through alpine desert and the glorious summit. Explore the many variations in landscape and climate on the way up the mountain and spend time capturing breath-taking photos of your surroundings as you move from jungle, to high desert, to snowy terrain on one of the more exciting routes on the mountain, but still manageable by the average adventurer.
