Mount Meru is the fifth highest mountain in Africa At 4,566 m. It is a great mountain to climb and offers spectacular scenery including the view of Mount Kilimanjaro. The Mt Meru ascent passes through many different vegetation zones. The dry forest of the lower region changes to a dense mountain rainforest, which then turns into scrubland. Closer to the summit, vegetation becomes less and less and gives way to alpine terrain.

On the Lake Duluti Day trip we will explore Lake Duluti; an old crater that became a lake. The lake is incredibly deep. They say its more than 700m deep, but it’s unconfirmed till this day.
