Take a break from the city rush! Beautiful ride combining some easy and scenic gravel paths and trails along the coastline of Igeldo Mountain, all the way to the Kukuarri Cross, clearing part of the stage of "El Camino de Santiago" between San Sebastián and Orio. We will be using our high quality hardtail electric mountain bikes, that will make our ride comfortable and pleasant. It is an easy 25km ride, that can also be adapted to the level of the clients.

Luis is a native of San Sebastian and has been in the tourism industry for many years. This is a unique culinary experience, where you will enjoy local food and drink tastings, then cook and eat together at a secret gastronomic society - a members only private club. Your experience begins in the historic old town with a visit to a wine cellar. Next you will visit 3 pintxo bars, where you will sample pinxtos - the Basque style of tapas. After your food tour, you will accompany Luis to Basque Gastronomic Society. We'll get started in the market to see what's fresh & whet your appetite, then it's off for a great city walk to learn the history of the region & its culture. Along the way we will lunch on pintxos (Basque tapas) at 3 of my favourite bars! It's a super fun & active experience--with wine, beer & cider! From the modern to the traditional, from squid to foie gras, from local cider to local wines. Maybe we'll chew on a pig's ear or two? We head to the roof of Gipuzkoa to find a building covered in ‘thorns’, a walk more than 1,000 meters high among meadows and forests, and a breed of Rastafarian sheep from whose milk the most famous cheese in the region is made.

We will cross the border from Spain into France and after a scenic drive of 1,5 h approx. we will get to our first stop of the day, Saint Jean Pied de Port. From its foundation in the latter part of the 12th century, the town became the strong point for the Kingdom of Navarre on the north side of the Pyrenees. After a short stroll through the town, following the footsteps of the pilgrims, we will stop in the picturesque town of Bidarray to observe the beginning of the Pyrenees from its 12th-century church’s promenade. From here we will take a fascinating back-road, that take us to Espelette. Before coming back we will stop in Bayonne that boasts an exceptional cultural heritage, a melting pot of French, Basque, Gascon and Jewish cultures…
