A popular day trip out of Seoul, sprawling Suwon is the largest city in Gyeonggi-do province, with World Heritage–listed fortifications still looping around its heart. Suwon almost became the country's capital in the 18th century, when Joseon dynasty ruler King Jeongjo built the 5.7km-long walls in 1794–96 ahead of moving the royal court south. However, the king died, power remained in Seoul, and Suwon ended up with one hell of a tourist sight. The city is located around 30km south of Seoul.

Cable car ticket is not included because some tourists don't want here. Last is the temple. Temple with beautiful lanterns, lotus flowers. This DMZ expert tour will take you to the Korean DMZ that is located about an hour away from Seoul. You will see the Third Tunnel, the DMZ Exhibition Hall, the Dora Observatory, the Dorasan Station (closed temporally by military) and pass by the Unification Village on the way back to Seoul. In my class, I will not only teach you how to write beautifully, but also how to experience the joy of carving a handcrafted seal. You can create a design with your name by a carving tool on a small stone. During this activity, you will experience healing through the slow analog, tactile sensibility of everyday life. First, I show two ways to engrave the seal and demonstrate how to carve with a carving knife. Next, I show the way to design the names and help to design according to syllable of name. You go for it and then cover with ink of Korean style and take a stamp. Once the engraving is over, you can choose an elegant case for your stone seal. When you return home, you'll enjoy looking at the stamp you carved and remembering your travels. I'll write down a message for you in K-calligraphy after you have stamped your seal on a postcard I prepare. My program has also been featured on Watcher, on American YouTube channel on August 2024.
