Our first stop will be at one of the best view points of Piran - the Walls of Piran that have been the town’s quiet guardians since the 15th century. You will be able to see as far as Croatia and Italy, and if you are lucky, all the way to the Alps.

After we leave the port in Koper, we will head up into the hills above, towards a village, called Marezige. It is just a short 10 km (6 mi) drive away and your guide will keep you entertained introducing you to Slovenia, while you will be able to take in the Mediterranean views of vineyards and olive groves on the way. One of the best views of the Slovenian Istria and Koper is located right next to the popular “wine fountain”, where you can opt to try local wines from the largest wine cellar in Slovenia - Vinakoper and other renowned local wineries. Marezige is the cradle of “refošk”, the most typical wine from this region which has been around since the Roman times.

Meet an incredible creature, the olm, which lives inside these caves and is called “the human fish” (človeška ribica) in Slovenian due to its skin-like color. It has been nicknamed “the baby dragon” due to its visual similarities to the mythological beasts. This spectacular place below the surface has been visited for the last 200 years by over 38 million people from around the world.

Your drive continues along Adriatic coastline, with photostop over traditional fishing village and visit of Piran, a spectacularly scenic town on the tip of a the peninsula, where you will enjoy in walking tour and some free time to wander its venetian narrow, atmospheric streets. Much of the architecture is 15th-century Venetian Gothic, lending the village a wonderfully medieval feel and picture perfect spots. Ljubljana is the capital city of Slovenia and a very nice small metropolis. It is very green and nice to live. Its historical city center, the river Ljubljanica, the castle, the open market… are only the major attractions to explore. Start from hotel in Portorož and transfer to Ljubljana. The ride will take about 1,5 hour. We will proceed with the walking tour of its historical center and will take the funicular to reach the Ljubljana castle and enjoy its magnificent view. Postojna Caves are the second largest underground cave system in the world. Unique for its cave train which isn't to be found nowhere in the world. Predjama Castle is situated close to the caves and it is one of the most spectacular medieval castles and the biggest cave castle in the world. We will start the excursion from hotel in Portorož. The road to Postojna takes about 50 min of ride. First we will visit the Postojna caves.
