Parenzana is an old narrow-gauge railway between Trieste (Italy) and Poreč (Croatia), nowadays converted into a recreational pathway. You will start the tour together with a guide at the cruise terminal in the port of Koper. You will cycle along the coast towards the fishing town of Izola. Then you will continue towards the valley of Strunjan, where you can admire the salt pains. Your guide will explain about the importance of salt for the Istrian region.
