Plashow is a Nazi concentration camp in the southern suburbs of Krakow, founded by the Nazis shortly after the German invasion of Poland. Originally, Plashow, opened in 1940, was planned as a forced labor camp, but in 1941 the camp was expanded and subsequently converted into a concentration camp, where from October 28, 1942, deportation of Jews from the Krakow ghetto began. Plashow was known as a concentration camp, supplying several military factories and a quarry with labor. The camp and life in it are shown in the Schindler's List movie (1993) about the life of Oskar Schindler. The area which held the camp now consists of sparsely wooded hills and fields, with one large memorial to all the victims, erected in 1964 and few smaller. As the Plaszow area is now a nature preserve, so the director Steven Spielberg built a camp replica in the Liban Quarry, some hundred meters away. We will visit all this points during our tour.

This tour is dedicated to people who want to save their time. The driver will pick you up from settled meeting point and will drive you back to the same address. You will be met in Auschwitz I Museum by our host who will accompany you into the museum where the official guide will be waiting for you to guide you through the Museum in a group of up to 30 people. You will visit 2 parts of the Camp: Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II - Birkenau. Tour includes permanent exhibitions and buildings at the Auschwitz I-Main Camp and the most important original camp buildings in Auschwitz II-Birkenau: prisoner barracks, the unloading platform, and the ruins of gas chamber and crematoria II or III. After visiting Auschwitz I there is 15-minute break. Then you proceed to Auschwitz II-Birkenau. The total duration of the tour is approximately 3,5 hours. You will spend 1,5-2 hours at Auschwitz and 60-75 minutes at Birkenau. During the tour each of the guests will receive fresh made lunch box.

Auschwitz was established in 1940 It was the biggest Nazi concentration camp for Poles and prisoners from other countries. They were condemned by the hitlerite fascism to isolation and slow extermination by hunger, exhausting work, criminal experiments, or to a quick death as a result of individual and mass executions.
