Later, we explored Moray, an archaeological complex of circular terraces that are believed to have functioned as an agricultural research center to experiment with different microclimates. After a delicious lunch in Urubamba (Tunupa Restaurant), the heart of the Sacred Valley, we visited Ollantaytambo, an impressive Inca fortress, famous for its huge terraces and history as one of the last bastions of resistance.
