Chitlang is located at Makawanpur district. It is about 22 KM from Kathmandu in the South West direction. Holy hike to Gosaikunda Lake also called Gosaikunda Trek or Langtang Gosaikunda Trek is a trek to the holy glacial lake Gosaikunda at an altitude of 4,320 meters above sea level. The lake melts and sips down to form the Trishuli River and remains frozen for six months from October to June.
