Located on the foothills of Shivapuri National Park(laid back hill to Budhanilkantha Temple), Nagi Gompa is a Tibetan Buddhist convent which is home to more than 100 nuns. It lies in a peaceful region in the middle of sub-tropical and mild atmospheres. The trail goes steeply uphill through the oak, rhododendron, and bamboo forests. From this place, you will be able to gaze over the amazing lush of green hills and panoramic view of Kathmandu Valley. Changunarayan Temple is situated in Bhaktapur, about 12 km to the east of Kathmandu. Dedicated to one of the main Hindu god Vishnu, it is one of the oldest specimens of pagoda architecture you can find in the valley. The temple dating from the Licchavi period is decorated with exquisite wood and stone carvings. Bhaktapur Durbar Square ( listed in world heritage site in 1979 AD)  is the plaza in front of the royal palace of the old Bhaktapur Kingdom, 1401m above sea level. Get Up Close to Everest on a 5-Day Everest Jiri Pikey Peak Trek Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to Dhap (2900m). The drive takes about 10-12 hours. Overnight in a guesthouse or teahouse. Day 2: Trek from Dhap to Jhapre (2930m). This is a pleasant hiking day, taking about 5 hours. Along the way, you will pass through small villages and experience the simpler life of the Nepalese people. Day 3: Trek from Jhapre to Pikey Peak Base Camp (3600m). This is a more challenging day, with some steep sections. The hike takes about 6-7 hours. Overnight in a guesthouse at the base camp. Day 4: Hike to Pikey Peak (4065m) and return to Dhap (2932m). Wake up early and climb to the summit of Pikey Peak. Enjoy the stunning views of Mount Everest, Makalu, Kanchenjunga, and Gauri Shanker. Then, return to the base camp for breakfast and start trekking back to Dhap. Day 5: Drive from Dhap to Kathmandu. After breakfast, take a jeep or bus back to Kathmandu.
