Ol Pejeta is home to three of the world’s last remaining three northern white rhinos, and a sanctuary for 105 critically endangered black rhinos. The Conservancy employ highly trained rhino protection squads, partner with international veterinary experts and ensure data is gathered regularly on each individual animal. On top of that you will be visiting a blind rhino called Baraka and also Kenya’s only remaining chimpanzee in the chimpanzee enclosure. The Nyama Choma Ranch is opened is opened daily from 1900hrs to 2300hrs.Dinner is served while listening music from the live band playing local , African, Kenyan, Swahili and country music. At 9pm,the show will start until 10pm. Essentially Kenyan in both atmosphere and cuisine you will be offered a stunning selection of roasted barbecued meats , sizzling hot, presented on skewers and carved at your table, accompanied with jacket potatoes, cripysalads and tasty dips. Ngong Hills makes an excellent hiking experience, since the highest hill has an elevation of 2460m(8042ft). It is in the south west of Nairobi so one can see amazing views of the rift valley to the right and views of Nairobi cityto the left during the hike. Your guide takes you through the 12km hiking trail. Comfortable hiking shoes with good grip, long pants and long sleeves recommended as it can get very windy.
