The crater rim also provides great scenic views across the beautiful Rift Valley all the way to Lake Naivasha. In Mount Longonot National Park, set out on the 4-mile (6.4-kilometer), round-trip hike to the edge of the crater, with the option to extend the hike an additional 1.5 miles (2.4 kilometers), walking all the way around the crater rim.
