Mt Longonot National Park is located 90km from Nairobi city on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. The mt Longonot national park is a popular park for hiking and mountain climbing that takes less than 3-4hrs to climb/hike up and down. It is one of the best adventure day trips from Nairobi. Day 1.Nairobi/Masai Mara Pick up from your hotel around 8am to our assembling point to meet the rest and depart Nairobi around 8:30am in the morning and drive along the floor of the Rift Valley to Masai Mara arriving camp in time for lunch. Later proceed on afternoon/evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Lenchada tourist camp or similar. Day 2.Masai Mara Morning game drive either before or after breakfast. Optional visit to a local Maasai village. Then proceed to Nairobi arriving around 4.p.m for drop off.

The clients taking part in the 4 days shared Mount Kenya Trek using the Sirimon Route will watch birds, pass through the tropical rain forests at the lower altitudes of the mountain, amidst the small wildlife and breathtaking scenery. As the trek reaches Day 2 the high altitude mountain plants will be visible and the weather will get cooler. The trekkers should have warm clothing and be physically fit.
