The Nairobi National Park boasts as being the only wildlife park that is so close to a city – only a short drive out of Nairobi’s central business district. Wide open grassy plains are home to a spectacular variety of wild animals, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes and over 400 species of birds. The National Park is also a major sanctuary for the endangered black rhino and specializes in breeding these animals and restocking other parks across Africa.
