This two-day tour takes you to the famous tourist spots of the two cities representing Western Japan. In Kyoto, you will visit a temple and a castle built by shoguns from different eras, a summer resort area loved by nobles, and a geisha district. In Osaka, you will visit the castle, which was once built by an all-time samurai hero, and the entertainment district and shopping area, which are being frequented by common people. Through this tour, you can experience the culture and history different from Tokyo, and enjoy local specialties of these areas for lunch.

I would like to enhance your excitement to be in the ancient capital of Japan. In March 2024, there was official announcement from the Ministry of Transport and Tourism that it is now possible for tour guides to provide tour services in private vehicles. I will do our best to provide a comfortable stay in Kyoto for both first-time visitors and repeat visitors. Itinerary is just one of the example for the day and it is possible to add more places to visit along the way. Due to the rear seat space limitation, recommended number of guests are up to 3 with all adult guests or 4 with one child guest.

Our guests will be able to kill two birds with one stone by doing exercise while sightseeing. This allows travelers to see more sites than they would on a normal tour and in less time. Travelers will be greeted by our guides, a fitness professional, and an experienced tour guide at Nijojo-mae Station, where they will be led through a warm-up and a brief history of Kyoto City. They will jog east to the Imperial Palace, where they will see lesser-known hidden gems and take part in Tabata-style exercises. We will leave the Imperial Palace grounds and cross the picturesque Kamogawa before heading to Heian Shrine, where we will make a brief stop. On the next leg of the tour, we will pass through the immense torii gate and jog along the banks of the Shirakawa River, lined with mysterious weeping willows and small stone bridges. This leads us to Maruyama Park and Yasaka Shrine as we wind down to end our tour at the eastern bank of the Kamogawa with some stretches.

During the tour of the factory you will see some of the well-kept secrets of refining and coloring lacquer for the needs of local craftsmen. Following the factory tour you will visit the workshop area at the top floor and apply lacquer on a pair of chopsticks using the traditional "fuki-urushi" technique.
